I pressed my new seal with a large 3/4" drive socket that fits the seal with a press. Just press it in until it is flush with the inside of the housing where the bearing is setting . You will see what i am talking about when you get everything apart, press it flush to where the housing is stepped down for the bearing.

Having trouble finding a seal, I have the same setup but having trouble getting a seal. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If I tried this, everything that could go wrong would go wrong.

U made is look easy enough. Thanks for the video. My old Ferguson needs a new seal. Should be about that same. Thanks!

Thanks for editing and narrating the video without the garbage. I once watched a 20 minute video on how to change lawn mower blades. Should have been 2 minutes at the most. Anyway, regarding the PTO seal, I'm trying to decide if I'm going to hire it done or try it myself.
Also, in my opinion, as long as you have it apart, might as well replace that bearing. I think it is not an expensive part.

@@marksregister hum i think ill order that bearing like you said its out and off so if it's out and off just as well do the bearing as well. Good thinking. God bless thanks for the brilliant idea.

Sir, I didn't see you install the gasket, which I'm sure you did. Did you use any sealant with the gasket?
