What an amazing place to go...The lake is very beautiful and really enjoyed your video..great filming and thanks a lot for the lovely sharing... Wish you a very happy weekend...
Thanks. Camera is a Canon Vixa. Their top consumer model two years ago. That camera has been replace with their new model, which has better low-light performance. Ken
Bob, I believe we may loose the battle with invasives.... but..... This is a really neat place. My friend and I hired a boat and a private 6-hour tour. It's easy to get lost in the lake. The nearby state park is small, but a great campground. Best times is spring or fall. It's unbearbly hot/humid/mosquitoes in the summer. ken
Good video and editing , music intro good, narration good however what is lacking is the sounds of the water and more birds . Good videos to pattern your style are the Texas Parks and Wildlife videos .
the opening of this video looks really cool I thought I was watching a epic motion picture . it's a shame that weed is taking over the lake. I hope they get it under control before it's too late. they never great video Ken thanks
+Susan Vitela Hi Susan. Yes, this area can be very nice in December. The cypress trees are bald at this time .... and very interesting. Check they weather, to make certain that you're not visiting during a major storm. ATB, Ken

Wonderful, mysterious nature. Do you know the name of these trees?
I really want to kayak on Caddo Lake soon. Should I be worried about the gators?
I wouldn't worry about the gators. I suggest not kayaking close to them, however. Thanks for you question. Ken
@GreyOwl8 You're welcome.
@chatouneify Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

@steveavery77 Recently people have become aware of the ecological value of this beautiful lake....and are taking action to reduce man-made threats.
Have a buddy whos from the Caddo tribe. Pretty small tribe these days.
adam tarver Cool.
The weeds grow in the beginning of the summer but by august it usually dies.
Lets hope it remains unspoilt...
