The Stripers are in that area so you should do fine if cut bait ... cut a sardine down the middle thread it on a #8/10ot hook do use some thread to adhere to the bait to the hook & line w/ the head being on the hook. Change out every 15 minutes or so for best results. If lures use a swim bait w/a paddle tail or a sub surface Glide try to move around if possible & good luck btw
Yeah you guys didn’t pan around with the camera so I can’t tell where you guys are at. I fished rio often b4 I moved outta state. Got some of the best fishing over that way that the delta has to offer
Most of the good spots from the bank now have gates ... I would try the river try Merrits landing before Sacramento... its a decent area (Google the area) or the dump gate do across the Isleton bridge go west till the road make a turn thats where you will park,,right there prior to leaving the river good luck have fun
