Refinished Vintage Silvertone Baritone Rubber Bridge Guitar

We had a little fun with the rubber bridge conversion of this vintage Silvertone acoustic guitar. For this guitar in our collection, our signature dark walnut-colored refinish was requested. As with all of our guitars, we implemented our own rubber bridge design which includes a premium piece of ebony and a soft rubber cylinder for a balanced & muted sound. This guitar also features our own tone circuit with a variable bass cut (3 different high pass filters) and a volume control. Both the tone and volume controls are independently bypass-able for maximum tonal and output options.
Perhaps the most noticeable difference between this guitar and our previous conversions is that we are introducing our own custom-made pickup. This pickup features a proprietary construction which yields a similar tone to the previous style with some improvements. The new pickup includes adjustable pole pieces for dialing in the perfect string-to-string responsiveness (not something that comes easy with flat fingerboards on these vintage guitars). The wider coils of the new design result in a more three-dimensional bass experience (especially useful for the low baritone tuning). The scatter-wound bobbins help achieve a less "quacky" top end and provides more clarity to compliment the smooth sound of these rubber bridge guitars. Have a listen for yourself!
