- The South Dakota governor wrote in her book that a 14-month-old wirehaired pointer named Cricket had shown aggressive behavior, while she was training the dog for pheasant hunting. She said on Sunday that she made the choice to protect her children from a "dangerous animal."
Wow… she thinks strength is just getting rid of vulnerable lives. She actually enjoys it. Terrifying. Disgusting.
Such a psychopath, she relished in telling the unconscionable act toward her own pup!

Also Kristi Noem: "I remember when I met with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un."
And comparing sunday school kids to dictators. Smh

Lately she has been saying it's a 20yo story. That has to be a lie because she said her daughter came home from school asking where Cricket was - her oldest daughter is now 17yo - That makes it IMPOSSIBLE for her "story" to be 20 years old. She's not just an animal killer, she is a liar.
Also lied about meeting with Kim Jong Un and then tried to lie about her lie, by not admitting it was a lie!! She's not a person who should be in a leadership position. She's cold hearted and can't even keep her lies straight.
She admitted the previous owner told her the dog was aggressive when she got it from them. All of her crying about “protecting her children from a vicious animal” is crocodile tears.
She tells the truth but had to remove passages from her book because they're were provable lies in it.
She certainly runs away from making reasonable decisions. The dog had only begun its training and she could have identified any problems in the training or rehomed the dog. But she took the cold hearted, quick way out, killed for convenience and actually thinks it's something to be proud of. We don't need sick people in leadership positions.

A dog only becomes aggressive because of how its raised they arent born that way or if its bitten by something rabid. But her simply saying it just became aggressive without explaining why it did is questionable. Somebody get this criminal out of that govt seat.

When I was a kid, we had a mean cockapoo. It bit me and others so we finally had to get rid of him. We gave it to someone to use as a guard dog. We made that dog mean by teasing him , etc. 3 young boys being stupid.
Every day that passes, that dog becomes worse. First she shot it because it was rambunctious on a hunt, now because it was extremely dangerous and had been attacking her children. Really? You kept a dog that attacked your children around the farm for about a year? I don't think so.

There is no proof Cricket attacked anybody. Let's hear Cricket's side of the story.
Dogs are animals and therefore they are not entitled to have an option or a side to a story.
Everyone here valuing a dog over other animals it kills is just pathetic.
So people who hunt or work in abattoirs shouldn’t be given consideration or valued? 🙄
