Hello! We live in Japan with two Asian Small-Clawed Otters.
Kotaro: Male, DOB 11/10/2017
Kotaro has a scar on his tail from being bitten by another otter when he was still a baby.
Hana: Female, DOB 11/24/2018
Since I'm using a translation function, my sentences might come out strange.

Their intelligence is always a fun thing to watch. I love how baby Kotaro understood the game you were playing with him and didn't even want the treat unless he won. Pretty clear nowadays that they're super spoiled though and just want those treats without the preamble! 😂
Yeah i couldn't help noticing how they used to grumble when they lost the game but now they grumble at the existence of the game.

I laughed so hard watching this , especially when Kotaro ran away like he was saying "that's enough dad!" I needed a good laugh! They are both adorable, just like little human toddlers.

Baby Kotaro just puts his hands into his pockets, shrugs his shoulders, and walks off angry. Grown up Kotaro acts adult, until he gets childish. Hana just lays back and says " Toss it over here."

I had a ferret who bounced through the living room while I was sitting on the floor with a plastic doohickey I didn't want him to have. I took it from him; he wanted it back so I showed it to him in one hand, pretended to take it with the other, and as he followed the empty hand, I palmed the doohickey and held it between my hand and leg. I showed him the empty hand. He stared for a moment, looked at the other hand, then up at me as if to say, "Nice one," then bounced off.
I love the way how Kotaro understands the game so well. 😁😁
His toddler tantrums were so funny! Their personalities are so unique. Hana’s tummy looks a little more round than usual. No offense, Hana, mine does too!
I have to laugh every time Hana thinks when she lies down on her back she gets a snack anyway :-) And her "nyam nyam" sounds are the best! :-)
I suspect Hana to be a Pokemon... Do otters actually make those sounds? 😂

A toy and food are not the same.
Toddler Kotaro had a fit when he failed at the game. Adult Kotaro has melt down. He'll grow out of it.
Also Hana flops on the floor and says " Toss it over" then finds out it's the hand guessing game.😂

@@jellybro2612 Kotaro always watches the hand movements, then runs to The wrong hand, when he finds out he's wrong he has a fit. When he's right, he's very happy. I always like his squeaks when he's wrong, they sound like disappointment.

Yes. Hanachan can talk and eat at the same time, LOL. Just like a woman, ooooo I just dissed my own sex! I knew an ex friend who had diarreah of the mouth and she was SO LOUD! THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT STOPPED WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND TURNED AND STARED AT OUR TABLE! At a dance seminar the instructor yelled, "WHO'S TALKING?!" Guess who... no, not Hanachan. She's quiet 😊 .

Kotaro & Hana are absolutely human children, no doubt in my mind! I bet it's a tough job taking care of them but the reward of their sweet little personality's makes it worth it! I just love the way Kotaro eats his crunches in the bowl when he throws one in his mouth then the next one in his water bowl. That makes me laugh every time i see him do that! Thanks for allowing us to be apart of yours and their lives! So cool !! :)
