INSIDE HMNS: Behind-the-scenes inside the Cockrell Butterfly Center greenhouse

Many patrons who visit the Houston Museum of Natural Science are probably unaware that we have a fully-functional greenhouse on the roof the museum's parking garage.
Installed in 1994, the greenhouse supplies the exotic plants for Cockrell Butterfly Center and also serves as our butterfly nursery. Step inside this hidden wonder and meet horticulturist Theresa Lancaster, who has one of the coolest, greenest gigs at the museum.
