    Amazing! ✨ I've seen a lot of channels about The Sims, but this one is absolutely unique. This is art!

    I've looked up Ricardo Bofill because of you and I'm stunned by his beautiful works! Thank you for mentioning him and further fulling my love for architecture. I love the build, it must've taken forever but it turned out great (as usual!). I'm also amazed by your verities of building styles, not only building classical but also modern builds! Enough of me ranting, I'll enjoy the rest of the video with a nice cup of tea, have a lovely day!

      Thank you!! I was hoping this video would make someone check his works out and I’m so happy you did! He really was a great architect and I still cannot wrap my head around the physics of some of his buildings :D It really brings me so much joy to see lovely viewers such as yourself come back to my channel ❤️

    I have a soft spot for non-residential or mixed-use builds, they're so underrepresented! I've been binging your backlog of work because it's so gooooood. Your breadth of knowledge, ingenuity, and love of architecture really shows. You did an amazing job evoking Bofill, considering the limitations the game imposes on the skeletal structure of builds! I think in this case it made the build lean International Style, always a good thing in my books. The biggest highlight for me is the almost architectural/sculptural art installations in the house, and the way you managed to tie architectural motifs into the furniture and interior, especially semicircles, vertical slats, and screen/mesh textures. Amazing work!

    I really appreciate the fact that you don't talk in the videos and just put on classical music

      ohhh that's actually great to know! I was recently wondering if I should start making voiceovers, because sometimes I want to say a lot more about the build than the character limit of the description allows, but the truth is, I don't really like speedbuilds with voiceovers myself either :D I usually mute the sound and play my own music or I just stop watching the video very early on, which is why it's kind of been my goal to make my videos in a way that the viewer doesn't feel annoyed and can just focus on the build and relax. I feel like talking over the video would ultimately ruin the whole vibe.

      @@saeryal i love your creations and the music just makes it even better and i also don't understand english very well so it would be boring for me if the music was replaced 😔 The way it is is already perfect and differentiated!

    could you consider building in sulani? i totally picture your style in there

    • @saeryal
      @saeryal  2 роки тому +3

      Thank you! I've started a few builds in Sulani but none of them ended up looking the way I wanted them to :D But I really love that world and it would be great to create a build there that I'd be proud of. I started playing minecraft with a bunch of friends recently and some of our builds have been very inspiring so I'm trying to kind of recreate them in The Sims. I'm currently working on a witchy swamp village in Selvadorada and I'm planning to build a pirate ship and a tavern in Sulani - it would probably be a little outside of my usual style though :D What do you think?

      @@saeryal well i think this would be amazing !!! i love your style but anything new and innovative is always welcome. the swamp in selvadorada is a great idea ! i also have a lot of trouble building in sulani. i have tried to build a house with a home spa, in a very polynesian vibe but it’s never really what i picture. i guess i don’t have enough skills 😅 thank you for you answer !

    I know this is an older video, but do you think you could upload a rar file with all the cc in this build ;-;. I downloaded everything from your description, but there was still 100+ items missing/replaced, and the ohmysims dunkin donuts cc is gone from the internet apparently LOLL. Or maybe, could you use less cc in your videos if you're going to put it for download? I love watching speed builds, but my hopes get dashed whenever someone uses cc, makes a list for it, but there's still tons of stuff missing. Not trying to police what you do, but it would just make more sense to have heavy cc builds just a video showcase, and lesser cc builds with more recent cc downloadable & accessible.

    Wait what in the circular staircases? Wut? I didn’t know that was a thing in the game. Also I googled la fabrica 16 mins into the video. Holy shit after seeing the building this video is so much more impressive!?
    And may i just say thank you for never speaking in your videos and not playing generic dumb music too. I just love your whole vibe. Top tier shit all around.

      Thank you! As far as I know Syboulette's spiral staircases are actually usable if you combine them with a mod by Ravasheen that's linked in the same download post (there used to be a link here). There isn't an animation for walking up the stairs and the sims just get teleported to the upper level but that's still pretty cool. I used the stairs purely for aesthetics though, haven't ever tried to make that mod work :D
      I'm so happy that my video encouraged you to check La Fabrica out, Ricardo Bofill was a genius!
      And thank you for sharing your opinion about the lack of voiceovers! I was recently wondering wether I should start talking over the videos, because I have quite a lot to say about my builds, but I was very conflicted about it since I don't really enjoy speedbuilds with voiceovers either and I think they kind of ruin the vibe. I don't know, maybe I'll figure something out in the future, but no voiceovers or anything of the sort until then - just vibes :D

    No es correcto omitir el gentilicio del país de origen, Ricardo Bofill es un arquitecto español que nació en Barcelona, Cataluña. Por favor corrige la información de tu descripción.

    yesss. knew right away this was La Fabrica, as i did a build inspired by it as well. such a stunning peace of architecture and an endless inspiration, bc it can be reinterpreted in so many different ways. I love your take on it and the great effort you've put into it, very cool build

    there's so so much to take in.. this is really inspiring, makes me want to live in this massive amazing sanctuary! its got to be one of my fav build of yours! i even love the process of making this build, its therapeutic. theres not many builders out there that could create a spectacular exterior, as much as the interior but you really outdone this!

    out of all your builds I've watched, the tour of this build at the end is a bit more cohesive! i get confused by your other tours but i love how this one mostly followed the actual layout of the house without much cuts to so i can envision it more! great build as always!!!

    • @saeryal
      @saeryal  2 роки тому

      Thank you! I’ve made a few of my tours this way but they are a nightmare to record and edit :( the game only lets you save five camera positions at a time and my computer tends to get some of the clips corrupted/glitched and I sometimes need to rerecord them but I wouldn’t be able to do that if I just recorded the whole tour at once without checking each clip, because I could lose the camera positions saved in one that would need rerecording. It’s kinda tricky and takes a lot of time. But I do know what you mean :) and I’m very glad that you enjoyed the video!

    what are tray files?

    • @saeryal
      @saeryal  Рік тому

      They’re the type of game files that have builds saved on them :) they provide an alternate way for downloading other people’s builds into your game. You can either download stuff straight from the gallery, or download tray files and add them manually into the game folder (for me the file path is Documents -> Electronic Arts -> The Sims 4 -> Tray) and they will show up in your library in the game :)

    Do you know what packs you used?

    • @saeryal
      @saeryal  2 роки тому

      There’s quite a lot of them but I don’t think it would really matter if you didn’t have some of them, as I don’t usually use that many objects from individual packs, so not that much would be missing I hope. The gallery post says that I’ve used all expansion packs besides Seasons, all game packs besides Parenthood, Strangerville and My Wedding Stories, the Movie Hangout, Laundry Day, Moschino, Tiny Living and Paranormal stuff packs, and the Blooming Rooms and Courtyard Oasis kits.
