(for reasons other than it soothing my crippling depression) I love how you always put the time and thought into these songs so that they can appeal to all, even if you don't listen to that genre of music all the time (exception for this song, I sleep to lofi hip hop all the time). Your work is inspiring, your songs sound as if they're filled with confidence and makes me genuinely believe you're good at what you do, and know what you're doing. I really look forward to more of these songs, especially these kinds of songs. Never thought an artist like you would make songs that speak to people so deeply, even if they're not meant to. I have been depressed all week because of the crap weather (I live in Kansas), but this was just what I needed when it popped up in my reccomendations. It really soothes me in a way i wasn’t expecting.

Alright Nyx, very clever. Very clever. I’m surprised no one else mentioned it. I was feeling super depressed before listening to this. And the piano, even the sax, usually fits with my sad music. But then fast-paced and uplifting the drumlins made my mood infinitely better. Just that one drumline makes this song feel motivational, when without it, the song would feel much more somber. I get the sneaking suspicion that the name of the song is phrased specifically to draw in the “I’m depressed so I’ll listen to sad depressing music” crowd, like me, just to pull that little stunt.
