- Born at 26 weeks and weight 2 lbs, Griffin spent 4.5 months in the NICU. I wish I had something like this to watch when he was born. Send it to someone who may need some hope.
His start was uncertain and scary. He is now turning five. 🙏🏽 An active and happy boy.
This hit very close to home! Like Griffin, I was born premature at 26 weeks too. I weighed 1.5 lbs and I was in the hospital for 4 months due to surgeries. Here I am almost 20 years old and am so blessed to be alive. This video brought me to tears! Griffin is so so strong and has such an amazing future ahead of him! It’s so heart warming to see him smile, giggle and enjoy life! He is a fighter! God bless you and your family!! 🤍
My son was also born at 26 weeks prem. Today hes 27years old. My youngest of 5 hes been the healthiest child of all. God bless you always. You are a gift to us all💜

I am admitted in hospital for last 1 month. Complete bedrest, not even sitting. 24 weeks completed today. Praying for my twins. I will in bed as long as required. No regrets. I want my babies to be safe. This video re-assured me that everything will be fine.
This made me cry so hard. Griffin, I'm beyond happy that you made it and seeing you jumping, running, dancing, singing in joy makes my heart burst with gratitude, relief and humility. Lauren, you've got my deepest respect. Your love is the source of Griffins strength. Same goes to the dad of course. I don't know neither of you personally but you all touch my heart. I wish you a beautiful, joyful, sunny life. Always know you're protected and cared for. ❤

my son was born at 26 weeks 5 months ago, he spent 71 days in the NICU. He is now 13lbs and thriving. Medical technology has come a long way. Research and prayer, most doctors and nurses will explain everything going on and if you have any questions, ask. I hope everything goes well for you and your baby!

I'm currently in a really tough situation at 20 weeks pregnant. I walked into my ultrasound with so much excitement as we were going to see baby and find out the gender. However this took a quick turn when the I was informed my cervix was dilated and my water membrane sac was seen bulging thru. This meant the water sac could break anytime and I would have to go into labor.
I came across your video and I cried a lot but also this has given me so much hope. As you mentioned, with the uncertainty of what can happen there is always hope of what can be. I'm currently taking it easy and praying my water doesnt break and we can reach a point where baby can be helped once he comes.
Thank you for sharing your amazing story of baby Griffin. This has truly given me courage and more strength for my own journey.

I know the feeling of fear. Mine was found to be brain dead at 26 weeks. She only developed half a brain. Her heart was beating, but she wasn’t Alive. I chose to abort the pregnancy because I knew carrying a doomed pregnancy to term would destroy me. Sure enough, her skull collapsed when I pushed her out. She died three hours later. I hope yours fares so much better than mine did.
I was 24 weeks and it was not as bad but a few mm left of cervix. I also have 3 kiddies 5 and under. So solution was rest lots of rest. I also take progestérone pessaires. But today I am nearly there, 33 weeks and 6 days. We praise Yehovah for each day that baby stays inside me. What happened for you and baby?
My darling first child was born at 26 weeks.
The milestones you spoke about are so very close to my daughter’s - 2lb born, 131 days before I was able to “room in” and get ready to go home.
My baby is 26, as of mid-2022.
We called her Grace, meaning “God’s Favour”.

I watched your videos about your preterm babies about 4 month ago when I was in nicu with my baby girl.
She was born at 32 weeks. I got admitted to the hospital at 25 weeks and was on bed rest until she was born. I was also diagnosed with Covid when admitted and the doctor said that could of been the reason for the preterm labor.
There was so much uncertainty. I prayed. Thats all I could do. Today my baby girl Sarah is home with us. She is a beautiful miracle baby.

I am 26 weeks with my first baby. At the moment, i am in the hospital on bed rest because I am 5cm dialeted, so all the doctors are waiting for is for the water to break. I’m tearing up watching your video. I’m 26 weeks pregnant right now and was told I could be having my baby anytime due to my cervix thinning out. I’m so scare. I’m just looking at surviving inspiration videos to give me some hope and Griffin definitely gave me some hope.

Your video is so inspiring, it literally made me cry. Thank you for sharing this amazing video as i'm going through the same similar situation myself as we speak. I'm 27 weeks pregnant, we conceived through IVF, and found out at 24 weeks our baby was experiencing growth restrictions. At 26 weeks and a half my water broke and found a new issue with my placenta being oddly shaped. Unfortunately we still have no conclusive answers as to why this is happening I still remain in the hospital with hopes baby girl will make it to 34 weeks. We monitor her daily along with ultrasounds and she is doing great. You and your beautiful son are such a huge inspiration to all us women going through this. Thank you

My wife just delivered twins at 26 weeks our angel Emma Grace didn’t make it but Sadie Mae is currently in the NICU on the event and all I can do is google what to expect and if she will make it with no major issues! This videos is an inspiration and I hope our little girl comes out with no issues and can be happy and have a very happy and great life!

This story is so very inspiring. My daughter is at the hospital right now as I type and she's only 26 weeks pregnant. She's dilated to 4 centimeters and the doctors say they will more than likely have to perform a C-section and they will have to transfer the baby to a hospital with a NICU unit.

I just had my baby today at 26 weeks 6 days. However he’s measuring as a 28 week baby. They haven’t let me him yet cuz I tested positive for COVID. So that’s really sad. Your baby is so adorable 💙

I too was born weighing 2 pounds, before 1970. Fortuneately, I did not have any of the typical issues a premee has. All I needed was a little O2 support for a few weeks and to gain weight. It never occured to my mom that I could have died. Perhaps that was a blessing for her. I came home about a month or so after I was born weighing 5 pounds. :)

I’m happy for you. 26 weeks was when they discovered my baby was brain dead. Her heart was beating, but she’d only developed half a brain. No one was home. I chose to abort the pregnancy so I could begin the grieving process sooner and as soon as I was induced and pushed her out, her skull collapsed. She died three hours later. My sons know about their rainbow sister though. They like to joke that she missed her flight. I guess it’s how they cope with it
