10 years ago this were even more sought after than the actual Nike Yeezy 1 & 2 because the 2s came about at around the same time as these. They don't understand that even people got fired at Nike for recreating this PE with some variations like the glow in the dark outsole (those were not samples, those were recreating without the Nike approval the actual WTT PE was just like this, plus the actual gold lace lock for Ye, Jay & Bron) people were paying more than 5k for a pair which at the time in was unheard of, now there are Dior's, Nike Yeezy, off-white Chicago's for around 10k but 10 years ago you could get a Paris SB for 2k or 3k so this was a grail among grails... People don't understand, like..it was 10 years ago everything is documented. Gladly or sadly it seems like people forgot.
They weren’t outside. Most enthusiasts now think sneakers started when Kanye jumped over to Adidas. Which happened shortly after this ironically enough.
Lebron 9’s hype was through the roof back in 2011/2012. And ppl are sleep on the Lebron 10! Had crazy colorways (cork, hazelnut, jade, lava, Christmas, etc).

first pair i splurged on years ago was the lebron 9 miami nights. i drove to flght club in nyc and paid a little over $400. i wish theyd churn out more colorways with the 9 now but ill take what i can get. top 3 silhouette for me

& then 6-8. I like 9, but I’m with buckets, they’re not good for causal wear imo.
This is my favorite Lebron of all time, followed by the South beach 8, and solar red lebron 8 low. I’m happy I’m able to attain two out of the 3 for very affordable prices.

I remember the Lebron 9s back when I was in high school. I was only able to get the swingmans back then. After seeing Perfectpair show 3 of watch the thrones as samples my mind was blown. The 9s are my all time favorite lebron. I can’t wait to get my hands on a pair of chinas!
I have long been a fan of these even if probably couldn't pull them off myself. I have always appreciated the hits and overall style on the Watch the Throne 's even just seeing pics on the internet over the years. This latest release reminded me how much i especially liked the print on the laces and the inner lining. And I do like that Nike is coming out with more of the older Lebron models, the 8s and 9s in particular for me are probably my favorites.
But overall the best thing i like about this shoe coming out is that Nike is releasing a formerly insanely limited once stratospherically priced sneaker to the public. At $230 on release day and still on the resale market they have not gone up much at all ; which is refreshing for a change. A sneaker that not long ago cost thousands of dollars and was ridiculously limited , now attainable for a reasonable price and widely available is what i like to see. This way people can actually buy and wear these shoes ; at the previous prices and availability they never left the box or display shelf for the few people who could afford or even get them. Hope this trend continues of bringing back super limited releases so people can buy and actually wear them.

Lebron 8 definitely has the most “casual wear” appeal. 7 is my favorite overall, and these are the best to hoop in. Hooped in the Lebron 9 in high school. Damn. Means I’m getting old I guess haha.
Agree with the 7s. Only lebron's I ever owned. Some of the earlier ones like the Foamposites looked dope too. They all started being ugly as sin after the 10s in my opinion

This is definitely on my short list. I’m just not sure on the sizing. I already have to go up to 13’s in almost all Nikes cause they are narrow. I’ve heard these are even narrower. Should I go up to a 14?
Whatever your normal size is, go up a minimum of a half size.
I love the retros I hope melo will get something like this, but my Lebron lately have been the 15 lows the 16, the 17 regular, and the 18 I liked the 7 retro

Show is fire but my big complaint is that clear blue bottoms turn yellow . Nike of ccp makes cheap quality for the price being paid of a 200$ + shoes . My have to pass on this one .

Sprites are probably my favourite Lebron. I wish I liked his shoes more, to give me some variety, but they just seem a bit clunky for me.
They are clunky most of the time but it’s because lebron is a big guy obviously and since his first shoe he’s always wanted something heavier for durability on the court.

No Nike is worth $230
They are an expensive retail point but Nike is raising most all their prices , especially with the more highly sought after releases. And compared to not long ago when pretty much this exact shoe was going for thousands of dollars and near impossible to get and very limited in terms the amount of stock / production and lack of affordability ; $230 and not much increase on the resale side is not bad at all in comparison.
