I think the Akshan, Maokai, Morde deck is more of a synergy soup. Morde likes to use a lot of ally target slay cards, while Akshan likes the target part of the effect while Maokai likes the ally dying part.
(That Ashe/Morg deck though has a "c'mon! Fight back [they cant actually fight back]" kind of vibe, very spicy)
