Thank you, Erping. There is much wisdom in the stories of the east, and we can only hope that east and west can use our collective wisdom for the good of all men.
Loved THIS.. TRUE heart an Love for COUNTRY.. FAMILY AN ITS PEOPLE.. So sad an heavy heart Yue Fei an fathers fate.. MORE people need to learn histories both of THEIR COUNTRY an GLOBAL history's.. Thank you so much for sharing the story and life of General Yue Fei! It was most inspiring and tells why Southern China stands apart today and may be the area resisting Xi Jinping and his foreign thought. I’ve been convinced of this even before I heard this story of patriotic fervor. I expressed it to my lawyer just a few days ago. Peace and tea
Awe inspiring history. I believe our greatest truth is that 18 is not a grown up. 20-30 are still very impressionable with little life experience. A 30 year old stands a chance of not being brain washed but every world power does it to their youth.
Actually, the virtues of the Yue Army remind me of the nominally communist Eighth Route Army during WWII. If any military unit doesn't come from and support the people, it will have a hard time finding success, especially in irregular warfare.
@@teawitherping7126 I'm Chinese American (and I learned traditional characters) so I can't really read most of the article... but thanks for the link! I will try to get through it as best as I can. By the way, do you think that the conception of loyalty that Yue Fei had was similar to the CCP's contemporary conception? It seems like Yue Fei's loyalty was ultimately to the imperial court rather than the peasantry and soldiers. Is it a product of Confucianism, where by the Song dynasty the central bureaucracy highly distrusted military officials? The Korean admiral Yi Sun-shin also was held back by his own highly Confucian ruling class 400 years after Yue Fei.
@@teawitherping7126 indeed! One of the more interesting periods, in my humble opinion and knowledge. Was liu bei more of a diplomat strategist or politician? I know for certain he participated in the fight against the yellow turbans, and perhaps less physically, in the fight against Cao Cao
@@teawitherping7126 That sounds absolutely awesome! Was he a role model or were you a fan of him, when you were growing up? And are stories about him popular in general?
Nope.. From all aspect Yue Fei are the greatest.. As a child, a man, a father, a civilian, a soldier, or a General, Yue Fei is a every one should be.. Its like heaven and earth if compare with that threes overrated..
I'm surprised that my honest comment about Yue Fei being a foolish idealist got deleted multiple times. And that was done by a person who deplores the CCP. I find that most disappointing!

Thanks for going in deed , especially the message at the end in these times . I’m American but since I was a kid always looked up to yue fei

Is yue fei vs jin wu zhu in yue fei zhuan accurate?
Liu bei, Guanyu and Zhangfei are the coolest warriors imo.

Please enligthen me, isn't it Guan Yu who become the Chinese God of War, not Yue Fei?
Both actually served for the role though there is a regional preference
