I bought the Swing Logic X and love it! Even bought the clips for my clubs and take the device to the range with me with the App on my iphone. Truly helps see my AA, Swing Path, and club face
Can you show the PhiGolf with bad swings, I would really be interested in how it works with high handicappers and possible open/closed, inside-out/outside-in swings. Basically people with not so experienced and consistant swing paths and see how they actually register with the sensor compared to high end simulator.
Basically, will owning this improve your swing path, tempo, etc? Or will it register a near perfect swing each time. Can you hit fades, slices, draws, or hooks? Can you top or chunk the ball?
You can if you use your real golf clubs and select "real club" and hit a ball in your garden.

I'm stil on the fence with this. I get, it's no trackman, but how could this be used to help ones game? Or is it really just a game, not that that's a bad thing.

This looks fun, but obviously not a replacement for the range, actual golf, or a real simulator. I'd image it might help super high handicapers (30+), but without hitting a ball or having a correct length/weight club I think it might actually hurt a better players swing.
I use this with real golf club and balls in the garden

Didnt see the settings fully. Does it allow for left handed swing? My dad bought a similar looking thing but it would NOT adjust for my swing(lefty) even though it was supposed to and settings were set to lefty.

How accurate is it? Can it actually be used as a real swing trainer or just a toy ?
Few simulators are accurate at most price point. Simulators approximate and simplify. The most accurate is your shot on the course which itself varies depending on your condition and the course condition. For the price point and using your real clubs in the garden it's a good simulator
How difficult/ easy is it to address the club? You don't have a real ball in front of you to determine the distance between you and the ball and therefore the handposition...
You set up like you would if you’re practicing with an iron you don’t have a ball then either.
As you do a practice swing without a ball. Hasn’t got to be that accurate to get an idea of the swing characteristics
Does the ball actually make contact with the ground?
You can plug it into your normal club and hit a foam ball.

I’ve been looking at sims for the house for months now. I’ve found that they’re either riddled with poor reviews(phigolf being no exception) or 10k+ dollars. Doesn’t seem to be any middle ground.
No cutting corners with golf sims.
You get what you pay for. The PhiGolf is brilliant for the cost
