Minor background updates here: Got the legit Trunks 2.0 here so can do a short bonus video that properly compares the real deal to the knock off to show just how different they are, I'm probably just going to swallow my pride and make a part 3 update on Gogeta as I'm still tinkering to fix a few things and thus not finished with him yet, and I've got a few other things kicking in the background that just need to be pulled out properly from storage to shoot the video for them while I have a bit of time off.
Sort of missed the boat to order that one myself, but what I have gathered is that it seems to honestly be fairly well constructed for the most part. I'm not sure where they sourced the alternate hair pieces for it offhand, but I believe they are recast from previously existing custom head sculpt sets, and the package comes with a number of blank faces that can be customized, but I am not sure if they include any decals in the package itself.
This one does look like a real solid deal in my eyes for a copy and like you said, could easily use this figure for replacement parts since it doesn't look too off at a surface glance. Thanks for the upload as always.
It really is a reasonable alternative for anyone who might have missed the original release but doesn't want to pay grey market prices or requires a few substitute parts because they lost something or don't have the original Jiren to swap with.
Nice comparison video. I got mine recently and felt that he looks smaller than the original which I don't own but saw other people's size comparison with Goku. This confirms that because it's a recast, it's a tiny bit smaller than the original. That part where you mentioned the hair grabbing and glowing fist is unique to this Son of Ghost version, those actually come with the original SHF Jiren (the non power up version).
I believe I did mention earlier in the review how Son of Ghost had also tossed in those regular Jiren extras (that grabbing hand, the glowing fists and flame effects) but could have slipped out of the script at some point as I did redo the voice-over bit more than once! Thanks for the watch.

The next release should be return if the son of ghost.
As long as there is just as much flexing possible on that release, I am all for it.
