2 of 3 U boat pens. From the capitulation of france in 1940, the Germans started to construct a series of massive concrete U boat pens along the west coast of France, in order to patrol the Atlantic Ocean, and stop the shipping of goods to the UK , so that they could starve us out of the war. In this movie, I visit Keroman U Boat pens in Lorient, France. There are 3 Uboat Bunkers that where used to house, repair and supply U boats. a fourth bunker was partially built, but never completed. I also look at the Turntable and Dom bunkers that where used, to house U boats before the other pens where built. I also tell you a bit about Jacques Stosskopf, and what he did to help the Allies. I also have an outside view of the house of Grand Admiral Karl Doenitz who was the Supreme Commander of the German Navy( Kriegsmarine ). Thanks for watching !! Apoligise for the wind noise.
