    I got confused here. In the last part video, that small portable filter was attached into the exhalation port of the ventilator, and here in this ventilator into the inhalation port. Is it because there is already that big filter box to be attached towards the exhalation side in this ventilator?
    I have also seen people attaching that small filter in the patient y part as well.
    Please give some insight on it.

    no water trap?

      Hi: If you are using a humidification system that has efficient heated wire (inspiratory and expiratory) circuits that eliminate rain out (condensation), then you wouldn't need to use a water trap. That being said, when you are assessing your patient, always assess for condensation accumulating in the breathing circuit. Hope this helps
