Hiya, Hatful! Thanks for hitting this film. Did you notice or hear that Barbara Rush (the actress who plays the daughter) just died this year at the age of 97? Imagine saying to yourself, “Yeah, that was a little movie I did 73 years ago”.
I am so excited for this reaction, as a young girl many many moons back this was one of my favorite movies. We had a tv show called Family Classics & Frazier Thomas the host would show these amazing movies. When Worlds Collide Og War of the Worlds, The day the earth stood still.
I used to watch this film as a kid, on weekends or when I was home sick from school. It was one of my favorites. Now I see, Zyra is passing close and, as such, taking orbit around our sun, while the small earth-sized sun Belos is gonna smack into Earth 19 days later.
Hello, if you don’t mind, can you do a movie reaction on a movie called, 1492: Conquest of Paradise. Adventure/Drama (1992). It stars Gérard Depardieu, Siqourney Weaver, Armand Assante. It portrays a version of the travels to the New World by the Italian explorer Christopher Columbus and the effect this had on indigenous peoples. Directed by Ridley Scott.
A suggestion from another old movie lover is It! The Terror from Beyond Space (1959). Ignore the sets and focus on the story and it is, in my opinion, a good, solid movie.
One of the best 50s classics!
"And when worlds collide", said George Pal to his bride, "I'm going you some terrible thrills." 😊
Fun fact, the 1998 asteroid disaster movie Deep Impact was originally gonna be a remake of this
That's a picture of the Sombrero Galaxy

Wow i dont think I've seen this since the 1970's. Thanks for watching it
Really enjoying this reaction. There were at least 5 times that I wanted to press the Like button.
I'm gonna watch this on your Patreon after work tonight.
To answer your question of who should go on the rockets, it should be UA-cam reactors and their viewers.

Cool movie choice! A classic take on human nature! Great choice!
Yep, John Hoyt. Good ol' Dr. Phillip Boyce from Star Trek's first pilot...The Cage.👍👍👍👍

You should check out the original (1960) Time Machine.
The 1960 Time Machine is fantastic, it might have one of my favourite special effects sequences in film with the changing mannequin
@@sauronbagginsd8032 Another beat effect is when he rock solidifies around him, then erodes away, in a matter of seconds.
@ yeah! So many great effects in that movie
Colonel Bellows... From I Dream Of Jeannie
Dr. Bellows in the beginning.
Almost 20:,years earlier and he didn't age that much, same for John Hoyt.
I read the novel before I even knew the film existed. You should read it.
