WE'RE SO BACK, LADS Also, am I the only one who thinks that Ben's Martinez signing was perfectly fine? It's an OPTIONAL fee which he does not have any obligation to pay. Plus the dude can be recalled at any time. Zealand's issue was that his transfer fee was dependent on something completely out of his control in the end. What a mess haha
I swear this exact thing came up during the last network game and it was agreed that it was a massive exploit that shouldn't be used. Back then it allowed you to sign basically any player you wanted for a year, not sure if it was partially fixed though. *edit* Jack brings this up at 16:20
@@TheMightofDab yeah, if using funds past the end of the save shouldn't be allowed, then option to buy should also not be allowed as both are using negotiation leverage that exploits the AI's lack of knowledge about the nature of the save. The AI does not know you don't care about what happens next season. Similarly, the AI does not know you have no intention of triggering an option. Should it? Probably. But because it doesn't, doing so is a little exploitative. It's down to the players in the game to determine if that's cool or not. They've already determined that "it's in the game so it's fair game" isn't acceptable by applying the "no future payments" rule, so it should've been discussed before anyone tried to do it. Ideally the person who "comes up" with the idea (in quotes because it's a known behaviour at this point) should've asked everyone if it was okay before they did it.
Honestly could see that 'Stepped in gravy' moment coming from the moment that shepherds pie was delivered 😂
Buzzing to see you back mate. Hope you and your family are doing well!
Watching this after I've watched others' network game videos is quite fun. Nice to see Ben still have hope before it leaves him completely.
12:40-12:45 should be clipped and replayed until the end of time and placed on the same level as the Julian Brandt clip
The laughs I get watching this. Brilliant. So needed in life right now
Good deadline day, decent result. Kev will somehow end up top of his group but at least you took two of them out! No bottles in sight!
What updated database did you guys use????
Imagine if his room was like Asmongold’s…why is his shepherds pie on the floor?
Mrs brought it in mid stream

Paid 50mill for a season loan and he could be recalled 😂
