I flew in/out of AMS in May 2024, as well. My lingering memory is that we taxied so long to runway 36L, I really thought the pilot got lost!

The entire spiel in multiple languages can be completed prior to pushback. Seems to be one of those cases.

You don't need a safety demo. If the plane crashes you're dead. No safety demo can change that fact.

Absolutely not. The setting of the flaps at 02:44 and 05:11 is absolutely part of it.
