  • Synopsis: Alex Peeler is a freelance filmmaker and disability advocate from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia who lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He faces barriers to accessibility each and every day, and he dreams of making the world fully accessible and inclusive for all individuals, one step at a time. While researching for a recent documentary about accessibility, Alex discovered the StopGap Foundation, a non-profit organization that builds portable ramps for local businesses - an innovative solution for a common problem. Join Alex in his mission to bring access ramps to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.
