@@themathing No crap, OG will always be the OG. If you wanna listen to the original thing, go to the source. That goes for everything. You realise how stupid saying "original better" is when looking at the comments of some music cover and seeing comments like these. Why would you listen to a rearrangement expecting to hear the original thing?
Because I wasn't. I was listening to the original, saw the remastered version in the recommended, gave it a listen and it didn't hit home. Then I noticed the comments saying it "Hit the nail on the head" to which I wholeheartedly disagree.
the fact that the song picks up on the pace as it goes is giving me goosebumps. the beginning invites you kindly to the level, while the later half is just like : What did you expect? an easy level?
I always found that in the original I wanted to instinctively move faster when the tempo picked up.. It's going to be even harder now not to. Great job to the developers! The CBNSane Trilogy is what a remake/remaster should be, work to be proud of Vicarious Visions. 😃
Funny thing, PS1 actually could do it, it has a baller sound chip for its time! But memory, oh lord, only 512K for sound... That's where Mancell was REALLY limited. If it had like 1 or 2 megabytes then it would make a TON of difference. But still not enough for the real deal...
@@Tremendouz at that time they need to reserve more memory on scene object. Even you use CD Track audio, the cd capacity cannot really fit the game size if you use large cd track blocks.(cd track sond are fixed in cdr storage.) 0:59 and beyond is really where it shines. It feels like a finale but also really uplifting as you come to learn the controls and adapt to the gameplay!!!
I remember being a kid playing the original and letting the game sit so the demo could play. When it got to this level, I remember thinking I'd never get to it, but really enjoyed the small clip of the music that played up until the demo ended. Now fast forward 20 years and the remake comes out. I'm absolutely taken away at the fact that the game even came out, but also the new take on the original OST. This one took me back to that time as a kid as I completed the level in the remake. Now, 7 years after the fact at 31 years old, I have this on loop just letting nostalgia hit me like a semi-truck.
I'm glad they didnt butcher crash two's soundtrack like they did crash 1. So many songs from game #1 completely lost every bit of atmosphere they originally had. However, they more or less made every track on 2 just as good, if not better with the remaster (with the exception of the snow go levels, they could've been a little better)
Whoa! Way too epic! Added percussions which weren't in the original version bring joy :) In my books, bass parts aren't that epic comparing to original. Even though I hate many new version's songs in new Crash, this song totally rocks and respects the original one :) I cry cause I possess no PS4
Genial!

It's like those awful spotify versions of songs where you can tell something is really fucking off but you can't tell exactly what it is. Everything just sounds worse. In every way. There is no way to justify this.
They fucking nailed it.
I'm with you on that. This was my favorite crash track
More like they stripped it.
@@BigSmoke-bu6ibwhy
That feeling when you hear this song on this level you know that you'll finish the game soon
True right
It's crazy how the first time you played that level is like the song increases the tempo as you adapt to the jetpack controls
You're absolutely right
You know, I think that's exactly What they were going for. Crash 2 Art was more focused on space And they wanted to be hyped for the last Levels.
Sounds as epic as the original, they totally nailed it!
RodrigoDS • yeah, I agree. This is one of the few I like from the remastered/remake version
No, no they did not.
Original is way better

My favorite Crash song of all time. Glad they did a great job recreating it!
the fact that the song picks up on the pace as it goes is giving me goosebumps.

I mean… I played it for the first time the other day and got the box gem without dying.
Always dreamed of floating in zero gravity while this is playing
One of the best songs in the game and entire trilogy.
The Vicarius Vision´s Team has did a great work whit this music.
I always found that in the original I wanted to instinctively move faster when the tempo picked up.. It's going to be even harder now not to. Great job to the developers! The CBNSane Trilogy is what a remake/remaster should be, work to be proud of Vicarious Visions. 😃
best theme in crash bandicoot off all time
0:59 is very epic
they improved one of the best songs of the trilogy or even the franchise
Have you heard the original pre-console mix (before compressed into ps1) in Josh Mancell's Soundcloud? I still prefer that version.
Tremendouz well, that version had a different instrument that wasn't on the original and thay didn't added it back
Funny thing, PS1 actually could do it, it has a baller sound chip for its time! But memory, oh lord, only 512K for sound... That's where Mancell was REALLY limited. If it had like 1 or 2 megabytes then it would make a TON of difference.

xan1242 many ps1 games use real recordings (mp3? idk about the file format) instead of midi so I wonder why Crash didn't.

This remake was amazing!! I LITERALLY stayed in one spot on the level to whistle the melody!
Crash : "To infinity and beyond!"
Jesus Christ, this is absolutely astounding. It certainly brings back memories
0:59 and beyond is really where it shines. It feels like a finale but also really uplifting as you come to learn the controls and adapt to the gameplay!!!
I hated these levels, but the music made them bearable.
I'm getting chills. They fucking nailed it!
Nice!
Holy cow, I got chills listening to this. Gosh, they did great! I can't wait to play this, thanks for uploading!
Dying to hear Eel Deal and Komodo Bros
You read my mind too well, my friend. Those were on my "up next" list in my mind lmao.
Could you upload Tiny's theme from crash bandicoot 2
You're doing a great service man bless
Im not a big fan of the remade version, but this is an exception. Its outstanding
Definitely has the vibrancy.
Like its original version... I fell in love again with this one
Because is one of my favorite levels in this trilogy, thanks for uploading.
You can tell this is the best track they nailed 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Minha música favorita do Crash bandicoot 2
I like the sharpness of the original better, but that's just me
Holy shit this was the song I was waiting to hear, and I couldn't be happier!!! Just 3 days people!!!
Ahhh why does this one make me cry
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
One of the few tunes they didn't screw up.
Thank you!!
Why do I feel like I’m on a rollercoaster with this one
N.Gin theme? I NEED IT!!!
Marshy They really didn't but ok
I think "Marshy" is a retro-fan.
Just guessing.
I love this song !🤩
Abdul, you da real MVP
It's acceptable, almost made me die in emotion :')
That missed note makes the song 100 times better.
Sounds so good!
Well, that was a tough challenge, but somehow VV overtook it!
Omigod! This is awesome. How sad that I do not own a PS4.
Yess!!!
They actually nailed it!

Kerry Jamerson well my opinion is exactly the opposite lel
NASA theme song
Beautiful use of the theremin.
0:58 my favorite

sakari haapala aw, you should get one:)

Thats sound good I like it like the original
pur art the soundtrack the crash bandicoot 2 Nice
I gotta scream cuz the song is good is
hell aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
2:33 part with bells killing me its fckn greate
As someone who is just now playing this game, possibly the best in the game. I hated the jetpack level but this song stuck to me
If you practice you will understand how to use the Jetpack
I just skip to 00:58 Lmao
I strongly relate to this.
Genial!

in the middle I get a Devil Went Down to Georgia vibe....
I feel like VV has an obsession with adding a lot of percussion to the remastered soundtrack, and that's why it feels off sometimes
im waiting for tiny theme or toad village or bone yard :(
All 3 after Eel Deal and Komodo Bros! Sounds like a good deal or nah?
Toad Village is what I'm most hyped to hear right now.
Abdul TheArabicGuy Deal!
*I didn't know BANOOCAS could flY?!?!*
I can't hear this and not also imagine hearing the warning buzzer at the beginning that goes off when you put the jetpack on.
Fly

I finish crash bandicoot 1 and 2 by my own even i'm a kid.
IMO Better than original
at last one track they did not fuck up but actually improved
realgoldfinger although it has a missing note.
they did it on purpose to give it the same but different feel. (I know technically that doesn't make sense but u know what I mean)
and also they didn't fuck up *any* of the tracks in these games fuckface.
My favorite from the past... The bass from the original was better but otherwise, they did it well and improved it :)
Is it just me or does this sound like something from Metroid Prime.
Original is Very better my friends, this version remind me ghosts but not space
toad vilage music
plz
also, this song isn't looped properly
It does *loop exactly* like the originals. I edited it like this for a fully looped experience!
Abdul TheArabicGuy okay
it's because it looped back to the introduction
Would you be able to upload Road to Ruin anytime soon?
Why does one of the best tracks in the game have to be used in two of the worst levels?
AdmiralOctopus compensation maybe?
AdmiralOctopus you're right, best theme of the entire franchise.
AdmiralOctopus I love these levels. Especially rock it. My 3rd favorite level next Un-bearable and The Eel Deal
TehFineztJoker/MBX93 rock it and pack attack have the most awful controls in the history of videogames
Gabriel Alluto I wouldn't say _the_ worst (I'd take the jet pack over the Wing Cap from Mario 64 any day), but I wouldn't call them fantastic.
Sunset Vista??? :D
Alex King that one has been out a long time already.
yes but they changed it since a bit
NeXT Gen oh really? i'd love to hear it!
The Pre-Console version is still better.
why does this sound like it comes from a sims loading screen lol
what? It starts again at 2:45? In the original it loops differently.

Yeah he uploaded another version
Aw... it doesn't loop like in the original games.
Still good... but I prefer the original version.
(Wow... that's a first for me so far!)
No no! It does loop like the originals!! I just did it like this for a *fully* looped purpose (a.k.a editing)
its very good, but i like more the original
Trash levels, great music
way too soft compared to the original
