I just left Atlanta, we lived in Alpharetta/Milton...hwy 400...exit 11. Teenagers worked and managed the area stores, i also work in the real estate sector. All the amenities you need on that exit, great schools, clean streets. However, it's the suburbs we definitely had to deal with a few neighborhood Karen's. Divorce happened, i moved back to my hometown ...but i lived there for 14 yrs, it will always feel like my home as well! I also like Stone Mountain, Peachtree Corners and Johns Creek.

I'm a buyer and seller right now. We are leaving GA and moving to MD for work. It sucks buying right now but our mortgage would be the same as rent, so we decided to buy. Our mortgage will be $2800. $1200 more than our mortgage right now. I found a townhome that's the same size as our single family... Best of luck on your move and home search.
