i've been doing only the first form for many years now and after watching this video I understood what I need to relax and develop more...thank you for showing this :)
This is really interesting. Thanks Nima. 👍🏻. I truly enjoy the depth the people of China will study the philosophies of their culture. We have nothing like this.
I really enjoyed this interview - Master Mui is clearly a deeply developed person. While capable, expert, knowledgeable and senior in age, he is still humble and light-hearted - with brightness in his eyes - showing himself honestly. Just by seeing him move etc I can see softness of enabling the connection of body weight and power to each movement, as well as the firmness of the field of his structure. Thank you
Very well put and I totally agree about his humble nature. He is exactly the same in person. Ive known him for 17years and he's always very respectful to young and old, which to me is a true sign of a Martial Artist
@@MindfulWingChun unless it was your first language or well taught at a very early age it's nearly impossible to learn to read and write the chinese languages. But Enough time around it and you can learn to understand and speak virtually any language.
@(will the real )Rusty Schackleford please stand up yeah the writing of the characters is so difficult. There is no such concept as an alphabet and every character is like a picture you need to memorize, and then there are stroke orders for each character 🤦♂️
@@MindfulWingChun oh boy lol 😂 yeah I'd never figure that out, and I'm a really smart guy , I understand bits and pieces of the verbal language but that's about it lol, probably still couldn't actually speak what I do understand tho . Definitely not a coherent conversation anyway(but I have also had very little exposure to the languages , mainly in movies and mostly Cantonese I believe )
Very interesting on how Master Mui showcasing overcoming a yielding force. Thanks for sharing!
yeah, the proper Wing Chun way is simply to go straight through. A very penetrative and focused force can not be yielded :)

Thats a very good point Rob.
I enjoy that side of living in HK and having a Chinese wife. I get right into the cultural stuff.

Great video.
👊🙏
The effects on the dummy at the end, despite the small movements of his body show great application of the weight in each move. 🥰
Yup, same with his Chisau
The link to their channel is broken. Need to remove the closing ")" from the link.
