I've lived in a 25 foot 5th wheel with my dog for 5 years while building my new home. Loved every minute of it.
The stainless Airstreams are great. No worries about the roof leaking and they last for ever.

I’ve been in the RV industry for 25 years and I lived in one for a long time by myself. My goal is to get back in one. I work remote so all I need is StarLink and a place to park.
Go look at a toyhauler 5th wheel you can pull with the truck. The rear will have beds for the kids that lift up to the roof. You can raise the beds and the kids have an area to play in.

Love my toy hauler. I travel with my Hobie Pro Angler fishing kayak. I slide it inside until we get to the camp grounds, then I put it in the back of my truck. We just have a bumper pull right now, but will be upgrading to a 5th wheel in a couple years when my wife retires.

Septic, have a small pad poured, run electricity to it, and IMO id build a small carport over it. That setups will last for more than afew years and even when you dont need the RV anymore, youll have a covered, powered, carport that you could use or someone else could even park their RV at and be happy

We got a camper pre-covid and since then even working a full time job we have visited more than 30 states with it. The first couple years was with 4 kids now its two and the dog. We love every minute of it. There is so much out there to see. With your truck just get a fifth wheel. One of the best perks is you tow your own bathroom everywhere you go!

I like to look at the current day thanks Roman and see what you did, what goals you set, and what I was doing at that moment.
Yesterday I had the idea to go to a mountain in the area. I went up there with my girlfriend once. In the evening I changed my mind because it was getting really cold. Today we woke up in the morning and I couldn't rest because when I want to achieve something, I do it. It was nice to climb up there, I admit I'm not in shape, but when I got up there it was a beautiful feeling to achieve a goal. When you go up, you go through easy and hard parts, but when you're up there and you manage to get to the top of the mountain, the feeling is really nice. That's how it is in life, you go through hard times, but you have to try and push yourself, don't give up, no matter how hard it is, you have to keep climbing down the mountain, and once you reach your destination, you're proud of yourself. That's my lesson today. Enjoy life, set yourself a goal every day, even if it's the smallest one, tidying your room, you'll feel lighter.

Hey Remember if you buy Diesel you would want to buy Pre Def engines anyway. I am in the trucking biz and that is the biggest down time cost we have. I have owned many motor homes and 5th wheels but I was not happy until we bought a commercial bus conversion. It is a whole different ball game so start at the top you will love it. Prevost XL is the best choice it is a riveted Bus so you dont have to worry about De lamination and the are a lot easier to repaint. You also want the Series 60 Detroit engine with the Allison trans . Make sure it is a brand name conversion and high mileage band busses. These things are like riding on air 80 MPH is nothing and they are the safest for the family.

I’ve live full time in a fifth wheel camper and have had 5 campers in my life. I would highly recommend buying from grand design because their build quality and customer service is top notch, and they arent as expensive as other brands. The Imagine 2800BH would be a perfect setup for your family in my opinion. It’s similar layout to the cheaper ones you saw a few videos ago, but much better built than those cheap ones. Your truck can easily tow it aswell, even though its a GMC (im a ford guy)

If you want a permanent camper for the property just build a metal carport type structure overtop of it. Would keep the weather and small debris off the camper. But would be able to pull it out to travel with it if you wanted to.

If you want something movable buy yourself a park model. Dig a good well, close to what's going to be the cabin's building site and install a good septic system. Then get your baby maker for little get aways... We had a Class C (Van front-camper back) ad when we travelled even for a day or a weekend, away for holidays we could stay in the Fam's driveway. But my sister on her property they built an A frame cabin... They had that for their weekends for 20 years. Then they installed a few years back a WAY high end prefab on a foundation, built a big garage (Hanger) or maybe a barn. My sis is now retired, her husband still has his accounting business, and they go to the "cabin" in northern MN on weekends, keep their two quads up there, have jeeps and enjoy the get away up north. I'm all for the big conversion van... But build a nice A frame or a small house that can be added on to as you get closer to your retirement age. My previous marriage we had huge 5th wheels and a big diesel 1 ton... Should go to Sturgis, Daytona, and do family vacations all over. I'm ready to do a lite rv trailer pull along we can pull behind my F150 5L Coyote... I'm not ready to do the North South thing, I'm retired my hubby still working. But could handle Florida vacations as now it is the two of us. DD

If you wanted to just go camp you could leave the trailer at home. The toter would also have enough power and torque to tow the skidsteer, a shipping container, a ton of washer and dryers or even your Heli! Its a win-win-win 😂

I have had three rvs and recently bought a toy hauler and that was the best purchase. The rvs were super loud and hot in the driver and passenger seat since the motor is very close. Having a vehicle to unhook is the way to go. Trust me. Also the toy hauler is way easier to pull with a nice truck. Driving the rv isn’t fun and it sways a lot with wind and so on. Just a thought if you have never driven or owned before. Maybe find someone to let you drive one first.

I have been watching since you made pranks with Dennis Roady. But now I am starting to not like how Brittney Atwood is behaving. It seems like she always calls you out on sensitive things a lot nowadays, like she did on this video about the onion breath. It's immature and not very appropriate to call out while hundreds of thousands of people are watching. It makes some people cringe and feel disgusted and grossed out depending on when they are watching. Also It's kind of disrespectful and shameless, almost like someone saying her private parts smell like fish. Or that she is fake...her lips, breasts, teeth, eyes, face(makeup) and a lot more is not natural. If she isn't comfortable someone always calling her out on all that, then she should stop making disgusting comments. She is spoiled so I know it's hard for her to learn to behave right.

I knew people that had a drivable motorhome on the smaller side & it was So much fun, could go anywhere & went many places. Pull that plug Roman, just remember, the bigger they the more limited you are in places to go & things to do!!! I liked the one you looked at at the dealer's with the bunk's & seperate bedroom.

I went to an RV show years ago, but they are for sure cool to look at like you said, it's just a house on the road lol, Campers are great one of my favorite childhood memories was camping and sleeping in the closets all playing card games in the small living room but it was, all worth it. I do agree before buying a camper you gotta do some research cause they can be pricey nowadays!

YES! Camping/RV content is my peace. Annually, I go to the local RV show where I live, and in the Summers, spend a day visiting RV dealerships just to parous.
You wouldn't believe the *clique* for Airstream -> Airstream Club of America / Canada. They're like the status symbol 'G-wagon' of their RV class, with their exterior appearance & all.
The RV world is amazing, then you get to the privatized off-road builds in North America / Europe.... absolutely insane. Many content creators from both regions of the world showing those beasts off in the middle of nowhere for a night.
Lol, look at some of the luxury rigs that show up to: Hearthside Grove, Michigan...

Purchase 2 RVs a class c and either a A-frame pop-up or a smaller travel trailer. When it's the whole family you can bring both with Noah and Kane in the travel trailer and Knox and Cora with you. You keep the class C motorhome at your home and the travel trailer at your property. You should've brought Knox with you probably 1 of 2 who could get away with taking a dump in one of the RV bathrooms the other resides at 1600 penn ave as of 1/11/25

After you lived in one you learn to appreciate the amenities of life and what you can can't have and realize that you don't need that many belongings materialistic things to be happy! You don't need a big house you realize that it's just a bunch of space that you don't utilize😊

Problem with non-trailer rvs is that of they break down, your out of luck. At least with a truck and trailer, you have one or the other if you have a breakdown. Also once you unhitch, you have your truck to run around. With an rv, you'll need bikes or something towed behind to use. 🤷‍♀️
