County government of Nakuru to revive pyrethrum farming

The pyrethrum plant was once regarded a great cash crop in the foothills of the great Rift Valley especially at Kinungi and Ihindu areas of Naivasha. Many of the farmers here depended on the crop, which was like gold, in enabling them to have the basics in life. but today, it's a different story.
