Become a superhero with the new AI in Microsoft Edge. Learn how you can start using artificial intelligence directly in the Microsoft Edge web browser! Bing Discover now has three features: Chat, Compose and Insights. Leila, in my opinion, Microsoft finally gave users a good reason to switch from Chrome to Edge. Since this has been built into Edge I have now used it much more frequently than ever before.

Thanks Leila. I love this feature. It helped me with the synopsis and logline for a movie I'm planning. Just told 'Discover' what the movie was about, the main character and how it should end. Only 5 attempts before it came up with one I could work with. Now I just have the characters and the daunting prospect of writing my first script. 😀

Great presentation, teaching in a very pleasant and concise manner. There is just one mistake by the AI- when company purchased inventory, the entry is Debit Inventory Credit Cash (not the opposite)....
@Leila Helpful as always but in the inventory example for debits and credits, they are wrong way around. It should be debit inventory and credit cash.
That's true! It didn't occur to me when I was recording it. Guess it's still training for accounting 😁
@@LeilaGharaniI've seen other examples where all AI bots (Bing AI, Google Bard, and ChatGPT) have all gotten an answer fundamentally wrong, but present the answer as though it's correct, similar to the example above. The danger is when someone who knows no better accepts the incorrect information as valid because they had no idea the information the AI bot is presenting to them is wrong, and begins repeating the incorrect information to others. AI has its uses, but in a limited scope.
lol, I read that example a number of times, thinking "am I missing something, that is wrong" Have I been doing it wrong for 25 yrs...lol
I was just searching someone has asked the wrong report given by AI regarding debit cash and credit inventory.

Thank you for this video. Like you, I sometimes get my tongue wrapped around my eye teeth and can't see what I'm saying. So, this tool is great for generating ideas to fill out your original sentence. Especially handy when extending condolences to the family of a deceased friend. Never know quite what to say or how to say it.

I only use Microsoft Edge occasionaly, especially when reading news in German (still lots to learn) that is then translated automatically, which for some strange reason no longer functions with Google. I saw this B on the top right of my screen and was wondering what it was until I saw your excellent explanation. Thanks for sharing your vast knowledge with us!

Appreciate you prefaced it that it is *_based_* on GPT-4 as it certainly has adoptions added but is in-fact its own version since they bout a majority-minority ownership and started baking in Bing 5 or 6 weeks ago.
I love that users couldn't figure out to TELL the AI to express tone. I did this so much with GTP-3 just to test how if would re-write when I gave it an age or intellect of the author, as well as the audience: On that note, it does not give a pretty clicky button for your audience besides your own tone, but should you provide it more precise response of EXACTLY WHO the audience is ("as if I am talking strictly to an audience of laymen executives who need a high-level but in professional tone") it will provide a *_much_* better response than using these toggles
Users should ask for a tutorial on how to speak to it best. Step 1

I've been using the Edge for a couple years now and I love it, especially the collection feature. With the new Bing tab tho, I don't like how the collection feature also integrates to the same tab because when I open the collection page the entire Bing tab shows up and when I close the collection tab, the Bing tab is still on the side and I need to click it again to close it which bothers me a lot. For now, I'm just disabling the Bing tab but overall I still love Edge.

Sounds really good! The B is there but unfortunately it only seems to work in the English version of edge and I don’t seem to be able to switch to English in order to get the functions. In the current Swedish version there is only one option called “identify” and it`s a bit unclear what it identifies, there are facts about bing and the most popular websites globally and regionally… hope Microsoft will soon enable users from other countries to switch to the English version before other languages are available

I saw that bing button which I had not tried, I thought it was a search button. When I clicked on it (hovering doesn't do anything) I get an announcement to join a waitlist to be one of the first to enjoy it. I got a list of recommended videos but nothing else.

Microsoft Edge app is available and has AI chat features but not compose.

just type in Dutch, it will automatically be showing result in the language you typed.
Yes, the AI integrated in Bing is fine tuned from GPT4. It is proficient in many languages and in many cases better than Google translator. The best way is for you to try it yourself.
Been using edge for 3 years because of how secure and lighter it is than excel. Bing just helped me making full naration on my published study and article. This new feature just blew my mind for how great it make our jon done easier

Isn't that first debit/credit example wrong. Cash should be credited and Inventory should be debited. Bing got it backwards!

Leila at 1:26 I realized even you overly relied on AI which even gave a wrong example and you fully read it through. In example no.1, when you purchase inventory with cash, your cash decreases, and hence it is credited, and your inventory increases and hence a debit. I only pointed out this mistake in good faith (although I know there is no reward even if we correct an expert like you or the AI lol - but if you made a video challenge of pointing out one mistake then I win lolz).
