In Islam, there is the word “Sadaqah” too, which also means charity, and it is very essential that every Muslim gives his Sadaqah yearly to people in need. Also, many Hebrew words I’ve heard during this interview are similar to Arabic ones. Shalom to my Jewish friends.
The writers of the Quran got it from Hebrew but misunderstood the meaning of the word as charity when it actually means justice as God declared that 10% of your money is not yours it’s justified as for the poor and it’s your duty not charity
As long as you do what you truly love doing, and you enjoy doing what ever that may be, be passionate, and fair, the money comes naturally, from this, give your ten percent, abundance is the end result, hashem wants you/us to live in abundance, and share that abundance as well, shalom 🤗
Hell no the last time I did that the idiot had a fake gun and threw my life into a downward spiral! Never again! Good riddance to all of those people! I will die before I beg on the streets
for Jews and Christians it's 10% but advise to give atleast 12% so there is no chance of mistake. And I think you should give 4% instead of 2.5% so there will be no chance of mistake
@@m7md_zz292 the word in Hebrew derived from Arabic? You mean the opposite . And the concept of zakat (or sadaqah as it used to be called. Which sound exactly like the Hebrew tzdaka.) The concept comes from the old testament
@@m7md_zz292 The Torah has been around for centuries before Islam was created. As for language, Hebrew is older than Arabic so it's more plausible even for modern words to be derived from Hebrew to Arabic and not the other way around. Just my contribution. Shalom.
When the Rebbe offered to bless me, I didnt ask for anything, because it felt egoish. Now that I'm older, I believe we're all equal. I dont need to go through anyone.
We are all equally loved by God, but we don't love Him equally in return. Those who love Him more than I do are closer to Him than I am. I ask for their prayers and blessing. God supports the humble, but opposes the proud
tithe and charity are two different things. i do wish the rebbe would have clarified that. in my opinion he should have made this very clear, but he didnt as far as i know
Is this personal advice from the rabbi to that specific businessman? Does this advice has a reference to it in the scripture mentioning 10% or its equivalent at that time.
Hi good people of youtube I have a sincere question: many years ago my ex told me that the correct way Is to say a jew and not Jewish, she was part of the birth right program and she went to Israel they told her the correct is to say jew not Jewish. Please someone with more knowledge than me which one is the right way? Peace Love and Hope!!!
I believe Rebbe is a Yiddish world for a Rabbi here applied to Menachem Mendel Schneerson to underline his role the way his followers called him, Rabbi is a common world in English for a Jewish “priest”
Giving to receive is not kindness, it's business. God wants us to give from the heart and freely. You should give according to your means, not a specific percentage. God does not expect you to give 10% while you will go in debt to pay next month's rent.
I don't give anything to charity LOL More money for me. That's all we have in life, it's money (gold and silver really, that's real money). You want to make it you have to be a shark. Otherwise you'll be poor for the rest of your life. I really only pay tips to hard working people, that give me good service. You don't reward people for doing nothing or giving poor service/poor attitude. If you want my 10% you'll have to kill me to get it.
I don't want to be a shark. We are humans and should care for each other. Your philosophy will first and foremost bring misery on yourself. Incredibly sad that you think this way.
@@truthseekers864 it can bring misery but it is a successful strategy. Just look at the elite if this world. They would kill us all if it ment more money

Shalom to my Jewish friends.
And Zakat too.
It's called zakat paid annually of 2.5percent annual income. Sadqa can be given unlimited times whole year
It's the same word in hebrew sedaka or tsedaka depend on the pronunciation
The writers of the Quran got it from Hebrew but misunderstood the meaning of the word as charity when it actually means justice as God declared that 10% of your money is not yours it’s justified as for the poor and it’s your duty not charity
What a great lesson. Same practice in Islam. Give and God will bestow more upon you.
Please, pray for me too. It's been so difficult lately. I'm asking The Lord to help me help others too.
Remember that Torah study is a great way to connect to Hashem! Keep pushing, you can do it
The teaching God wants us to give to be blessed. I'm not a Jew doe I find this to be very kind and Honorable
As an African, we can learn from you guys got bless

Priceless knowledge. Toda raba 🙏
As a traditional catholic I enjoy the beautiful culture of jews.G-d Bless all of you
Thank you 🤗
Not just to whom you deem as unfortunate but anyone you pass in life.

This was beautiful meaningful words
Thanks for the advice
Not just charity give to the less fortunate in the streets when they bag you for some change. Mitzvot should be practiced everyday.
Hell no the last time I did that the idiot had a fake gun and threw my life into a downward spiral! Never again! Good riddance to all of those people! I will die before I beg on the streets
I did this today. I normally don’t.
Much obliged
Very good advice. Muslims also give 2.5% of their total wealth every year to the poor.
for Jews and Christians it's 10% but advise to give atleast 12% so there is no chance of mistake. And I think you should give 4% instead of 2.5% so there will be no chance of mistake
So thankful the Rebbe came to the United States.
Ami doing his best Borat impression 4:25
Advice to be followed.
So exciting!!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
He is doing exactly what muslim is doing..
Charity is key to sustainable wealth
Yes, Indeed. 4:12 I heard a word not strange to my ears. I assume that word in Hebrew and derived from Arabic which is Zaka(h) translated to Charity.
The Islam learned it from Torah of Moses, Musah

I don’t want money I don’t want wealth. All I want and need is God.
If someone gives just in order to receive that person is not of God.
Does the clothes he make promote tzniut/modesty? Def connected
This is an excellent question
What The Rebbe asked to Do was ultimately A RIGHTOUS Doing by far ! 👍Gd Job
When the Rebbe offered to bless me, I didnt ask for anything, because it felt egoish. Now that I'm older, I believe we're all equal. I dont need to go through anyone.
We need to go through the Messiah to be fully reconnected to Hashem like the Torah prophecies said.

The Rebbe always had simple solutions that resonated with so much wisdom
1:40 This is 100% true.
Tony Robbins stressed this in his Power II tape.
Halachic question: do you have to give 10% tzedaka to any charity? Or 10% tithe to a shul?
It doesn't have to be to a shul.

ten percent,,well get you in the club
