Thanks to the channel for sharing the knowledge, i am design engineer, i get to see the design parameters of vessel, but i have known the function of these vessel. Thank you for sharing some of the facts. Now i know what a k.o. drum is.
Excellent video. Would you kindly clarify me, what do you mean by the following: 1) The flare line, blow down line and relief line should be "self draining" to the Knock Out Drum? What do you mean by "self draining " and is this self draining achieved by giving a " slope" to the line? 2) What is the purpose of giving slope to the line? Thanks for your time. Please continue on such videos.
Thank you Abid for your valuable comment. 1) Self draining means line should not have any pocket /s (no vertical elbow in simple sense) , it can be done by slope or gravity flow toward knock out drum. 2) for that you should have knowledge of flare system. I will try to make video on it.. Keep supporting Abid, Keep sharing with your friends and follow us on other social media.
This video is so informative and we'll explained, thank you efforts. How we can calculate the load and what input piping engineer used to give the Structural Engineer to design the Pipe Rack?
Because,,all the line goes to within unit means one location to another location connection so that we decide first rack as process...and any leakage happened so that it won't harm other tier
And utility tier is 2nd tier bcoz there much less lines as compared to process lines and if there any casualty pr leakage happed it won't harm to exact below lines that is process tier
assuming there will be no branch connection. you can have min 3" clearance between lower tier pipe/its insulation to lowest edge of upper tier steel. hope you like the video.. please subscribe and share with your team. cheers
Thank you for your comment. could you please elaborate what exactly you want...? what I understand is.. you want me to prepare a video on equipment layout or unit plot plan
Noted. after this piperack video we have modified that thing. You can check our other videos. thank you for your comments @Shehan Kamle. Keep watching and keep supporting. Have a nice day.

Dude.. There are some videos which we were prepared on our early stage of channel. Now you can see the difference. (As we are team of piping experts not video making) As far as information is concern everything is on google.. Even YT is part of google. If you really want to learn slow down video on 0.75.. It will work. You can connect for any query on our mail.. We can help you out. Otherwise criticise us. We will improve day by day. Thanks.. Keep learning
Why u are using oil and gas terms. U should mention in video title it is specifically for oil and gas industry. Whenever you making any video please use neutral terms.
Ok.. Could you please write more specific abt those words...so i will try to keep in mind for future videos...you can write mail to at piping.mantra@gmail.com

Thank you for the topic will prepare video on this.
Could you please make video on pipe load data drawing.
deciding pipe rack tier to tier distance ,how much space keep over pipe for lay and insulating line
min.3" excluding insulation thickness
Hi can you add some PIPING VIDEO related to offshore FPSO, systems and how the sequence of flow is in FPSO
sure
Can you please provide the PPT which you've explained in video.
Do we consider water filled pipe weight for steam or empty pipe weight?
Yes since it is dual phase
Thank you for the video.
Please solve the example on " hight of tier 2" & width of rack" please 🙏
Why utility tier is second and process tier is first in the plant ?
I aslo need to know the reason
Because,,all the line goes to within unit means one location to another location connection so that we decide first rack as process...and any leakage happened so that it won't harm other tier
Pipe length minimize
And utility tier is 2nd tier bcoz there much less lines as compared to process lines and if there any casualty pr leakage happed it won't harm to exact below lines that is process tier
I want to reduce pipe rack tier to tier elevation at road crossover , how much can i reduce based on line size

you speak fast or the video speed is increased, go slow make 15-20 min video it helps understanding every point this is too fast

yup, way too fast. :)
piping engineer have to design 'pipe rack' ?? i thinks this design is on a civil engineer
Yes civil design structure part but first piping has to set the width, tier and difference between tier.
