- The Emperor and Empress of Japan are on State Visit to the UK as guests of the King and Queen. On June25th Emperor and Empress were met by The King and Queen on Horse Guards, before the Emperor was invited to inspect a Guard of Honour formed of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards. The Royal party then travelled back to Buckingham Palace in a carriage procession. In the afternoon, following a private lunch at Buckingham Palace, the Emperor and Empress viewed a special exhibition in the Picture Gallery of items from the Royal Collection relating to Japan. In the afternoon, the Emperor and Empress visited Westminster Abbey, and lay a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior and took a tour of the Abbey, accompanied by the Dean of Westminster.

The Japanese and the British have a distinct similarity. They are both cultured, elegant, honourable and prestine humans❤❤❤❤❤❤them.
With an appreciation for traditions, roots, history. Only monarchies can achieve that with the head of state representing continuing, stability, apolitical, a link between the past and the present.

It’s true that Japan and British have many similarities.
But,unfortunately the Japanese Imperial Family is still male -dominated. The Empress Masako gave birth only girls.
The Japanese imperial family preferred a woman who gave birth to a boy to an excellent woman who graduated from Harvard University.
So, Empress Masako was criticized by those around her and developed a mental illness. I think the idea of male superiority over women is very old and terrible form of discrimination. The Empress’s daughter’s name is Princess Aiko. Aiko means “love”in English.
Princess Aiko is very loved by many Japanese people,because Princess Aiko is very pretty,honest,and intelligent woman.
According to a public opinion poll, 90% of the Japanese people want Princess Aiko to become the next Emperor.
The First Article of the Constitution of Japan, Majesty the Emperor, is the Symbol of Japan and of the unity of the people.
This position is based on the will of the people of Japan, over whom sovereignty resides.
It is wrong that the daughter of the Emperor cannot succeed him simply because Princess Aiko is a woman.

One of my younger brother was asked by the teach what his parents names were and he said Oum (first born male name.. and Abou.. as a younger sibling with a older brother he only knew my parents as Oum and Abou. if a man has no sons he is ribbed by his mates as Abou Leila; because he has no male heir.
When a girl is born they say she had a daughter. When a son is born, he had a son and Mughli (celebration rice dish) is distributed in the neighborhood to welcome the male. In mos countries, depending on the sect, females either don't inherit or inherit half of what the male siblings get (because their husbands are responsible for their upkeep. I know all about it. It is cultrual and religious.

I suppose she refuses Aiko, because she is the daughter of Masako. Michiko wants her second son, Aklshinonomiya Fumihito to succeed the throne.
She will change the rule that woman can succeed the throne after Fumihito.

It was moving and much appreciated to see His Imperial Majesty laying a wreath and, with Her Imperial Majesty beside him, paying their respects at the Tomb of The Unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey.

The Japanese media is reporting that Masako is not feeling well and that His Majesty is taking a lot of care of her. They are saying that Masako is taking time off from her official duties because of this. They also say that Masako wears a mask when riding in the carriage because she is allergic to horses.
In Japan, there are many edited videos that pretend that Masako is sick or allergic to horses, even though her health is back to normal, but we do not know the true state of Their Majesties' health.
Masako, the Empress of Japan, does not have a horse allergy. It was her husband's mother who spread the rumor that she had a horse allergy to harass her.
The preparations by the British Royal Family were perfect. The Japanese people are very grateful for the hospitality of the British Royal Family.

After one miscarriage, Masako gave birth to Princess Aiko, but the pressure of giving birth to a boy who would succeed the throne caused her to develop an adjustment disorder, her health condition deteriorated, and her personality was denied. Upon learning of this, the late Queen Elizabeth sent several letters to Masako, encouraging her to recuperate in the UK with the Queen, but due to various circumstances in Japan, this was not possible. The Empress was very sorry and grateful.
Even now, Masako's health condition may change due to various pressures from the Imperial Family, but thanks to the kindness and warm hospitality of the UK, this visit to the UK, which was a long-held wish of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress, was realized. I am truly very grateful. I am not fluent in English. I apologize for that. Please forgive me.

The imperial couple truly are interested in this display of irreplaceable historical artifacts from Japan to the English royal family dating back to the Sengoku Period. Both scholars and fluent in English so as to follow the presenters. The Japanese must be so proud of them.
