Cotton is picked in Southern Qld and Nthn NSW April to June generally. It is actually cotton planting season at the moment, along with sorghum planting and moving into barley, wheat and chickpea harvests.
Yes, thanks for that info. I do find farming quite interesting as we travel around. I'm always trying to work out what is planted in the fields as we go. Thanks for your comment!
Hi - thanks for your comment. Aways excited to receive comments! Yes, you are right - it's a birdie backpack which I bought and got sent from America. The company who makes them is called Celtei. The backpack is made with stainless steel mesh so Yummy can't snip through it. Expensive but absolutely worth it. Hope you have fun travelling with your Sun Conure and thanks for watching!
Australian birdlife is so amazing, that bike and pop up looked cool, nice atmosphere at the pub,so do you put in your book your first sighting of that bird? Cool idea lamington was my first introduction to the bird life hope I can get back there again
Yes, I just love birds. Always love seeing emus and I actually saw a Great Bowerbird the other day! I get a kick out of identifying new birds that I haven't seen before. They all get noted in my book where I see them. Thanks for your comment, and watching! Dena

Birds are so great. I have Sun Conure that we’ll travel with next year. Was that a bird backpack you were wearing?
