One of the most beautiful bl series that i ever watch..i love the story the chemestry for both actors..they deserve an award for this series i love it so much❤best drama 2023 i hope they have a happy ending..iloveu jom and khun yai❤

Well I’m a wreck. Cried through the whole thing. I’ve grown to love these two so much. My heart broke for yai trying so hard to fix it then having to accept it. This is such a beautiful series. Not ready for next week. Hoping for the happy ending we want. When jom mentioned the drawing of the man under the tree I think he was talking about him. Remember when he drew the house and present day jom appeared under the tree and picked up the flower he looked towards jom but I think it might be yai he will see because that vision didn’t seem complete? My theory. Love you!
You explained it well. Yeah it could be Jom’s own drawing & he sketched it right after he saw his present self emerge out of nowhere walking towards the Plumeria tree. But why did he not have any memory he drew it himself ?
Or it was drawn by Khun Yai ? Unlike Jom’s, the drawing style & skill are noticeably in different level. Maybe Khun Yai draws it in memoriam of Jom ? I mean … Khun Yai is about to see Jom’s departure in the final episode. To keep the last image of Jom he sees in this lifetime memorable, Khun Yai is gonna draw Jom vanishing in thin air. My 2 cents.😬 Sorry if my opinion adds more pain to you.😲

As mentioned in the live, I originally watched this, and was deeply touched, but I did not cry. However, watching with you, tears streaming down my face at the beauty of what the story embodies and your emotional reaction to it.

Exact same experience. Nothing on my own, but overwhelmed watching with you Tita Josie. That party and the memories of everyone might have been one of the most moving scenes from any series in 2023.

"Jom's not going to be alive in the present day." 34:40 So Jom is 20 in 1928. If he lived 70 more years, he would have died at age 90 (plausible) in 1998. But let's round up and say he died at 92 in 2000. If he reincarnated into his next life right away, then in 2023 he would be....say... say! he'd be pretty darn age appropriate for Jom, wouldn't he? We know there are present day versions of other characters....so...well THAT is the ending I want.
But I think we're actually going to get Jom jumping backward in time to meet up with that mustachioed version of Yai who gave him the breath of life in the river back in ep 1. Yai's previous incarnation. (Presumably previous.) And that would mean...Season 2 before we get that present day scene we both envision.
Have the producers ever commented on why the 1860s American folk tune "Beautiful Dreamer" gets such prominent place in the soundtrack? (That's the melody that kicks in when Jom asks James to take the picture anyway, roughly 26:55.) The song's themes apply somewhat to the story; the music would be out of copyright, so no fees to the composer for using it; and it's pretty. But I keep hoping to see a more definitive statement from one of the creative types about why they chose the tune.
My initial theory--they wanted music that was known both in the 1920s and 2020s--seems to be unlikely after I learned Beautiful Dreamer never became well-known internationally* until after Roy Orbison recorded it in the 1960s (still the most famous version, according to my hasty research)--had to be rejected after I learned more about the tune's recording history. So if anyone has seen commentary about that song, please let me know! While I have noticed the song in nearly episode, I have not noticed if there's a pattern to its appearances. Here it fills up a melancholy moment, maximizing the emotional impact. It may be that I noticed it in earlier episodes because it plays over similar moments.
*--Historical Note: Stephen Foster is probably the best-known, best-remembered U.S. composer-songwriter of the 19th century. Several of his songs would be included in the Great American Songbook. Oh Susannah, Old Kentucky Home, Way Down Upon the Swanee River among them.
This is actually more painful in the novel but they've shown it beautifully. For this one, Jom is not going back to the present (future) yet... The moment he's gone from Khun Yai's era, he'll slip to a way earlier time, the time of soldiers and ancient Siam where he'll meet Commander Yai...I mighty warrior who started it all, the one we saw in the first episode underwater with mustache and tattoos. If Khun Yai is too sweet and loving, all the more is Commander Yai. Way naughty and horny too, if I may add. 😅

This episode didn’t make me cry. The episode when he said “not me again…why is it happening again” That made me cry. Now, if he doesn’t get the modern Yai I’m coming after whomever greenlit this for production because while I know real life sometimes good people just have bad luck in love. I Want Jom to have his HEA and honestly I don’t watch romances to be sad. I watch them to feel warm and fuzzy and point out to my significant other “See?! That’s how you flirt!” 😜
Oh my God I need a reaction to the final episode now. I’m just….What Did I Watch? And for everyone … you have to watch All the way through the credits. There is a post credit scene. Hands may be being thrown. I’m distraught. Verklempt. Pissed even. Argh.
I think Jom either died or is in a coma from the first episode, and I also think Jim didn't draw that last drawing cause it looks like that's Jom under the tree.
