THANK YOU! I been a Paul Johnson fanatic for a few years now and he is RARELY mentioned among the GREATS. I STILL bump PJ mixes in the ride quite often.
From the interviews with Steve Maestro and now Boolumaster, I am learning more and more about PD Elroy Smith. It seems like he didn't dislike House Music as much as I thought he did. But it seems like you had to twist his arm in order to get it played while he was at WGCI. He didn't seem to be as willing to fight for it unlike his predecessors (Lee Michaels, Sonny Taylor and James Alexander). Even PD's Buddy Scott, Dave Shakes and Todd Cavanah at B-96 embraced the genre more than he did.
I love this interview and learning more about Boolu. He's one of my favorite DJs and I often wonder why I don't hear about him in a lot of conversations? The CHOSEN FEW should pay this man what he would make and it will be offset with more people coming to hear him play. FREE BOOLU!!!!!!!!!
My favorite Dj,I love this man
It would be Crazy to hear Boolu play at Chosen Few!
I been waiting for that.🤞🤞
I'd lose my mind!!!!
What Boolu said about listening to and studying Ralphi... That was me every damn weekend!
What he said about hurting your brand (de-valuing yourself) by playing too many events for cheap...FACTS.
Wow he was the first dj from chicago to mention Paul Johnson
Salute to Boolu Master jo
