Not when they look like that, lol😅. But if they start looking more like prescription glasses, the ones that I wear everyday anyway, then it can be a different story.
I'm still pretty happy with my Oculus Quest 2. My previous company tried using it for work purposes during the pandemic, but it never caught on. However the games are fun, especially for the price point. I can definitely see the potential of VR becoming mass adopted part of every day life (especially as it integrates more with AR), but not for another 10-20 years at minimum. And I see Apple's AR/VR dial being the first step in that direction. So unless you have a ton of money to blow, or unless you are already a VR enthusiast from a previous headset, I highly recommend people just start with a Quest 2 or another cheap starter model. I'm happy Apple is getting into the space though - I doubt I'll ever buy one of theirs - but it will push the tech forward.
Most use their smartphones a primary computer, some use tablets and laptops and when the portfolio of devices increases the use case decreases. We shall use PlayStation for gaming or Meta quest, but if you get both its highly likely that you would stop searching for one use case for quest and just stop using it altogether. VR lineup isn't mature yet. That's what i feel.

I dont think vr will ever replace the simplicity and accessibility of a phone, walking around with minion goggles will never be normalised.

I agree. Companies are still testing the waters here. But if the form factor can be slimmed down, it has great potential as a hands-free device.

I haven't tested the CHU 2 yet, but I'm quite happy with the vocal clarity I get on these BL03👍🏼
