wow that was amazing and how you hold your body posture and don't wobble when you rise into demi-pointe. you should be very proud of yourself this is amazing xxx
Great work , I love RAD, I had RAD training at San Francisco Ballet yrs ago . The only constructive critique I noticed is when you got to frappe s your elbow were sinking in your porte bra s in second position . Always remember that the elbows are higher then your hands in first and second position especially :) I always try and think of my finger tips on the same plane (so to speak) as my belly botton your elbows will instinctively not droop . Hope this helps !
try softening the hand a little more and having middle finger more 'parrallel' to thumb if that makes sense. it makes your lines look more elongated and lengthened
hey! nice work :) on your frappes, beter try to keep the frappe clean when you point. it needs to stay a bit there. the frappe is a powerful movement needs to be shown. after 3 years of posting i m sure you have excellent frappes now ;)
during the glissés you should try to keep them just off the floor, and also have sharper battement jetés. its something my teacher always chews my class out about
Hi I loved watching your work!!! Well done! Iam 36 years old and I do also RAD ballet and have some videos online. What syllabus do you do now? Iam doning the old Advanced 2 and the new AF but in January I will go to the teens to A1 new syllabus! Keep on dancing!
+dance2felina Thank you so much for your comment. I did the old syllabus but never entered the exam. Currently I am taking a hiatus from dancing but when I go back, I won't be doing any RAD. I plan on doing a strengthening program and then do "free" classes to focus on the basics. I hope you continue to enjoy dancing!
I can't close my feet in 5th completely, it feels very uncomfortable when I try to close them. Is this normal in the beginning? Are there special excercises to improve 5th?
li & life If you are beginning with ballet it could be normal that you can't completely close fifth, you need to stretch and train your inner tight muscles and use or develop your turnout, don't worry it is normal, just do not force closing your fifth bc you will hurt your knees, you will close it eventually but it does involve work, some people have lovely natural turnout but others (like me haha) had to work to get it. I recommend you watching tutorials on how to improve turnout, look for Talia fidra or Kathryn Morgan channels :)
Dear Ballettomanehk - Ronde de jambe - you need to start the first degagé devant en fondu on the up beat (on and - then ronde to 2nd on 1 beat) - are you going to do exam in Intermediate :-) Best Elisabeth
Beautiful turnout but you need to ensure that you do not move your shoulders when moving the arm to the side. Second position of the arms is slightly lower than expected.
I feel underage because I am only 12 n I'm doing intermediate.. 😯 btw ur good, I just need more expression and try square your hips so they won't stick out.. I know I'm late...
Hey at 3.25 you need to really push your heel forward and stretch your legs. And you drop your elbows when you are concentrating on your feet! But otherwise you have really nice feet
i agree, plus try not to cut the hand move. hands need to role, the movement never stops, never ends, you need to keep the continuity huh? but in general good job!
Your demi plies are incredible! Try to really pull up your knees during rises, it will help you get further onto the balls of your feet which will make your feet look even better! But I can't get over your demi plies oh my goodness!!
Jewelle Smith if you type into google the ballet music your looking for it comes up with a website and it has all the music for all the grades and all of the vocational exams as well x
Hi, actually I never did the exam. I followed the syllabus just for fun and to get some basic training. Can you take the exam again? Keep practicing and you'll get better!
TIMESTAMPS
plies 0:07
battement tendu 2:24
battement glisse 3:34

THE TENDUS MUSIC IS MY JAM WHEN IT COMES UP IN BELLET CLASS
lol same I end up bopping instead of dancing when that comes up
Petit battement and grande battement as well.
I did this exam two years ago, and this song made me smile the most during barre! It’s called the Washington post.
wow that was amazing and how you hold your body posture and don't wobble when you rise into demi-pointe. you should be very proud of yourself this is amazing xxx

Elisabeth Schaldemose Thanks for your comment. No, I'm not going to do any exam ;-)
Stunning!! Great Work. Well done. Does anybody know where i can find the music?💕
How stunning! ❤️❤️
Xara Amorella Thank you!
Beautiful turnout but you need to ensure that you do not move your shoulders when moving the arm to the side. Second position of the arms is slightly lower than expected.
All the best:) watch the rad cd.

PanaceaB41 Thanks for your suggestion and compliment :-)
try not to rush into your plies make them more soft and restrict don't rush :)
i agree, plus try not to cut the hand move. hands need to role, the movement never stops, never ends, you need to keep the continuity huh? but in general good job!
Yeah, my teacher always tells me that the movement never stops
so work on your back flexibility. You need to ensure that as you bend backwards it is more controlled.
Your demi plies are incredible! Try to really pull up your knees during rises, it will help you get further onto the balls of your feet which will make your feet look even better! But I can't get over your demi plies oh my goodness!!

Does anyone know the actual names of the music pieces?
