There are some 2TC combos with Monkey Villages like Perma Charge & Primary Expertise, and Sentry Champion & Homeland Defense, the BTD6 Index has all confirmed 2TC combos documented. :D Nice video idea just playing around with different towers to see how far you can get.
Balance is such a fun map. Besides Alc and Mortar, throwing a Tack Shooter or Ice Monkey down can carry for a good while. Either of those two towers needs very little support to destroy anything that comes their way when they're placed in the center.

Currently on round 85 with a 025 Ninja and 520 Engineer. 025 Ninja might have been wrong, but I couldn't resist the idea of striping camo off the DDTs so the Sentry Champion could blast them. Let's see how the rest goes! Crashed and burned on round 95. Didn't even reach the DDTs, it was the huge rush of camo purples that got me. Sandbox showed that 205 Ninja did a lot better against them, but with no camo stripping the engineer was unable to help, so...
I feel like a 520 village and 502 boomerang could probably 2TC maybe. I know the save up for the 502 boomer, from the 420 will be really really tough, but with the boost of a 320 village, it might be possible. and the save up for the 520 village once you have the 502 is trivial. The only issue is idk if they will beat the bad.
I tried the randomizer out after seeing this video, I got a super monkey I went (0-2-4) and a wizard monkey (0-5-2) and managed to do it on Resort. I wanted to go (2-0-4) on the super monkey but I needed something to deal with the early purple bloons. Fun challenge!

Day THREE all stun team, psi/pat Moab Dom, Top path cannon and mortar, middle bottom path helis, any glue freeze, top path sniper, bottom path engineer.

2 TC with sniper + Heli is probably not impossible. Just build 3 base snipers at the start instead of wasting your cash on upgrades that don't help you

I could get the heli down with a 002 sniper to a 102 sniper but then lost later because i didnt have enough cammo with just the heli.
With sniper and plane the furthest I got was 76 and couldn't beat the regrows.
