16:18 wrong information . I know many people get confused because there are too many railway tracks . Kharagpur railway station has 3 railway tracks corridor in west side 1st set of tracks (which is up line )which The Barbil Jan Shatabdi was going is the same track which is going towards the HWH - Mumbai main line and there are 4 no of Tracks two on the right side tracks are going towards Mumbai and other two left side tracks are going towards Puri and south . Then there is a 2nd corridor(which is down line) from which the Tata Steel was entering the Kharagpur station . There are two sets of tracks here which handle the movement of any train coming from Mumbai , Any train from south and any train from puri and last we come to the 3rd corridor which handles the movement of any train going to Howrah or going towards Midnapore and therefore Adra , Purulia, Asansol and there are two tracks for the movement. Many people get confused because any train is coming from the Mumbai main line then there is a station called Kalai kunda (A airforce station) after crossing the tracks divided into many ways to a station called Nimpura some tracks are going towards Nimpura Through Yard station and some tracks are going towards Nimpura Marshalling yard So, if any train is coming from Tata or Mumbai main line comes from Nimpura Through Yard station and any train is coming from ANVT , NDLS to Puri or Bhubaneswar via Tata then this trains goes through Nimpura Marshalling yard they don't go to Kharagpur they stop at Hijli Railway station which is the Satelite station and reduces the heavy traffic coming from Puri to Delhi route . If any trains are coming from Puri and going towards Howrah they don't stop at Hijli they come from another track which is shaped like an 'U' around the Kharagpur Railway Wagon workshop and Main shop and enter to the Kharagpur station. And if this is too much then wait there are some trains which run weekly from Bhubaneswar to Delhi route via Adra then they enter from Hijli and there is a track going towards Nimpura Marshalling yard and therefore it bends like another 'U' shaped track and it goes towards Midnapore and after that Adra then towards Delhi line. A little bit confusing I know but that's how kharagpur railway station handles the incoming and outgoing traffic. Thank you 😊🙏
