The Nigerian students should quickly be friends with others especially the locals and that will be a blessing to them.

Your own people are your problem. I live in Kasoa which probably has the most Nigerians in Ghana, and most of the time one person will come for the apartment and in a matter of weeks or few months about 5 people will be with them and they wouldn't sweep, no scrubbing of bathroom or weed the surrounding when it's bushy. She called it hatred but which landlord will want to tolerate that?

You speak twi now too? Eeei you ain't the first Nigerian though. They are everywhere and even naming themselves with twi names why though? They easily get along and even become citizens if that's how I should call it. But that isn't easy in Nigeria as a GHANAIAN. You can't even get a plot of land to even build. You always have to renew. Let's me end here. But for you befe you seem cool so.. enjoy

Befe you are a wise lady with the way you address issues. However I feel that landlords in other regions aside accra is different ooo. You can check and see because it is accra landlords who are doing discrimination but everybody with his or her experience. The other 15 regions are different but I will say that they should plan to get self contained one bedroom or 2 bedroom so that they will live alone , they should avoid compound house if they don't have the heart.

I like the fact that you addressed the issue of not getting an apartment to rent by you the host. The Nigerians spoil or destroy a lot to things are dirty. Because if that, landlords who have experienced that won't give out to them.. myself I won't give out my place. But I like Nigerians and all African

Befe, is not like Ghanaians don’t like Nigerians. We like Nigerians very very much but from some experience we had with some of them which constantly reoccur makes us not trust Nigerians easy.
Example, a Nigerian will come and rent your house and just in a short he or she will start bringing in friends for a short stay and before you are aware, they would have had a permanent stay and bringing in more people. How can Ghanaians trust them.
Furthermore, Nigerians renting your house will not open up to you exact work they do but before you are aware Police will come into your house and search there even before become aware they suspect. All this happened because some Nigerians don’t open to their Landlords.
Again, when they rent your house by the time they leave there, they will make the place dirty and destroy some things in the house. You will have to renovate the place before renting it to another person.

Before a wife becomes angry over a husband she might have gone through a lot to the point she can't take it anymore, before a landlord says no to a Nigeria he or she might experience a Nigeria bringing multiple people into the house who are not on the lease. With such behavior, no landlord in Ghana will prefer a Nigerian as a first
Choice. Of course, this is not all Nigerian, as they say, if you have been bitten by a snake before even if you see a worm you are afraid.

I do not understand why a lot of Nigerians like staying at Kasoa . Kasoa is made up of hard core people so if you live there you will not see the beauty of Ghana . If you stay away from Kasoa and rent an apartment where real Ghanaians live , you will enjoy it . I was born and raised in Ghana but I can not sleep at Kasoa for one day . God bless you , Befe .

I think Nigerian govt need to build more tertiary institutions to absorb your high population.
JAMB and others are hurdles put in place to deny lots of students access to higher education due to govt failure to build more institutions and i don't think it makes Nigerian schools better.
Ghana used to have university entrance exam ,UEE and was later scrapped bcos more schools have been built and existing ones expanded.
In Ghana 🇬🇭 most people prefer govt schools to private so Nigerian government should expand and build more schools to cater for your huge population.
    My opinion ❤

But the government hasn’t built more universities, they just changed polytechnics to technical universities, same difference. Only thing is there are more private universities in Ghana and like you rightly said they’ve taken away the university entrance exams. But Ghana also had a gap year before all the change in the secondary school system happened which in my opinion is really bad. I wish they will reinstate it and because during that period you can learn a skill or decide to develop yourself. You’d have an idea of what to pursue in university or if university is for you.

Fufu is actually an Akan word meaning white but the British couldn't pronounce the word fufuo instead they say fufu hence the name stuck but social media made fufu popular and everyone claiming it, that's why Ghanaian's say their fufu is different from any other place
