I'm so glad I was a teenager in the 90's,The Beloved have a timeless appeal.
It's been 34 years and one day I was singing this song and I remembered But I'm sad that these bands weren't highly valued The 80s and 90s were the barn of smart music.
Only one word describes this track: CLASSIC

In 1990 I suffered with a head injury and was kicked out of my mums , I discovered the scene and ecstasy , this band although considered mainstream at the time were one of the bands which got me through this period ,
There is a (Magic Juan's Sex Mix) version of this track I highly recommend you listen to, it’s still amazing after all these years. I still have all my promotional copies of the remixes that I still treasure. 😁👍

1990 was a great year. I left school, went to reading festival, got my first girlfriend and a lot of beer was consumed. This album always reminds me of that era. I can still remember seeing this video for the first time on The Chart Show.

I know that some of you might disagree, but the early 1990s were such a good time for music, with such a plethora of masterpieces, that even such great songs like this one could go relatively unnoticed. It is unfair, indeed, but it happened. With many artists (Banderas, anyone?). Having said that, I feel very lucky to have experienced that era!

90s was last era where mainstream music capitalized on what came before. A lot of producers today want to be called musical geniuses by creating sound that has no roots in music era that came before.
The 90s was the last decade when real musicians made original music. Now it's all just copycat and auto-tuned trash.

@Simon Barnett - I would love to know where the money came from to pay for the gorgeous models in the videos, as they were never really rolling in it. Must be the record company i'm guessing, but it will have come out of royalties, still, good videos help with sales.
Never much of a dance music fan but I did delve into this bands cd's. They had good vids and songs....good memories of the 90's.

20 years old and things were spiralling out of control with my "habits" at this point lol, but I survived ✊ unfortunately some of my best friends were already 6 foot under or lost to their demons. Needless to say they succumbed to their addictions in the end. RIP my friends..rave on in heaven. ❤

I fall in love with (hi quality) commercial stuff sometimes. It happens 2 me with the beloved with many of dem tracks. I don't know, maybe is because they got great vocal lines.

Oh god !!! He didn’t have a voice at all, but he did amazing song sweet harmony . Don’t know how with this voice , but sweet harmony really sounds good
he had a great voice, suited his music perfectly. back then you were allowed to sound... however you sounded. not like today, where everyone is auto-tuned to sound the same. yuk.
