Burnie, Gavin, Gus, and, Barbara are my most favorite podcast crew ever IMO
I disagree with Barbara. "Winter is coming" is the most awesome words. All the other ones try to boast and make their house look grandiose, but the Starks don't. They state the true, harsh reality. Winter is coming, and there's nothing you can do about it. It's going to suck, you'll be cold and hungry, and many won't come through alive. They're saying "We're hard men. We live here in the hostile North, and you pussies don't".
IMHO Stark's words are the best.

Back when COVID-19 first started affecting the US, and I heard about how it's another type of SARS, I thought back to the story mentioned in this podcast of Gavin and Burnie at the airport in Japan in the quarantine zone. In a video they took while they were in the quarantine zone, Burnie even made a joke saying "It's a thermometer, not a pen... We have SARS now". None of us had any idea what was coming

Grew up surrounded by farmland. There was a "Honey Wagon" there, but that was the local term for a large green tanker filled with liquified cow "fertilizer" that was towed by a tractor from farm to farm. It had a long tube going out the back of the tank, which dripped onto the road.

Seamas Hodman Dublin airport is the only place in the world outside the US where you can go through US immigration in the airport. So you technically enter the US before boarding the plane.

I was traveling alone, went from Brazil to USA to Canada, and then after a week I went back to USA, I had a lovely time. First time in USA before Canada, the customs officer asked what I did for a living, when I said I was a student, he asked me my major because he wanted to do whatever could afford so many international flights.
My parents think I'm a loser, maybe I should have bought posters.

honestly their is a lot of stories that have been told multiple times on the Podcast so nah you're not crazy but I have felt the same feeling of De-ja-vu before XD
Because of the amount of content they produce as well as just the casual conversations they would have with colleagues and friends they just sometime forget which stories they told on the Podcast or to whom they told it too

About the customs thing, it's a lot easier if you get a Nexus card. You can skip the long lines, and instead of talking to customs, a computer scans your retina, and prints out a paper. You show that to an officer and you are done. I've only has to wait 5 minutes in customs from international flights
OK I'll say it. Although Barb is a slamming hottie. She adds nothing to podcasts. The high pitched laugh she inherited from Gavin makes me cringe. Just my personal opinion. Sorry in advance.

I just flew in from Slovakia yesterday and had to go through customs at the JFK airport and it was such a pain...I spent about two hours just going through customs there.
I used to use a 768p monitor, nothing ever seemd to fit perfect on the monitor, not even windows. I have a new one now though.
