Sato was hand sewing board shorts in the back of the surf shop there for over 60 years I believe. I was fortunate enough to have a pair custom made by her before she retired a few years ago.

Yes! I got started as a sophomore or Junior in high school. I found that my taste in denim changed over time so the brands that I started out with definitely changed, I started with Jean Shop, now I’m into IronHeart, Railcar, and The Real McCoys

when it comes to japanese pronounceations, it's not overly complex, you just focus on pronouncing every consinent vowel grouping distinctly for homura youd pronounce it ho-mu-ra and same goes for 90% of japanese words translated to english, at least from what ive seen

There are no silent letters or any tricky, ambiguous pronunciations. Homura is pronounced exactly as it looks: ho-mu-ra. Same goes for Tanuki. It's not Tuh-new-key. It's Ta-nu-ki.
Heyy, just remember that for someone whose language has different pronunciation for each vowel "reading something as it's written" could led to missunderstanding, as you said, is ta-nu-ki, but the letter "a" in english is not the same as the one in "ta". So.... there's that. Don't want to start an argument but, just try to be polite if someone is just stating something.
