Once you have seen it, you'll never make the same mistake. Look closely. Kilian, for once, is mistaken: If there were no boys, the girls would fly away - every time she tries to escape one of these boys cling to them and drag them down again. If there were no boys, no ballerina would stay on earth, and the world would loose ballet as an art.
@@RianneDB What kind of contemporary are you talking about? Pure contemporary with unattractive lines and personal feely vibes that the audience can't figure out, as the dancers inevitably contract and roll around on the floor. Or contemporary ballet that can be lovely and impressive, as long as there is not too much of it. There is an amazing contemporary company in the Netherlands, the Nederlands Dans Theater, if contemporary is your fave. The reason it is so good is that the foundation of the dancers is ballet. When classical ballet companies start producing too many contemporary pieces, their revenues plummet.
again and again, kilian for ever ! ❤❤❤
Beaufitful. Would love to see it.

Is the Dutch Ballet forgetting that it is a ballet company?
Ever heard of contemporary?

@@normamimosa5991 you asked if the DNB is forgetting it's a ballet company; you don't have to like the style for it to still be ballet
