This is honestly a game changer for us. Commentary variance analysis is the one thing we’ve been unable to optimise in BI. You have saved me the work of collating all analysis in an Excel spreadsheet, and feeding this to PBI - now the owners can interact with this directly.
Genuinely excited, and can’t wait to share with the team.
    Thank you so so much

Hello, it is an incredible feature. I started to use it this week, but I don't know why I can only put measurements in the 'filter' field. Is that okay, or should I be able to choose a column from a table? Thanks, and great job.

It should work. Please check here for more details: help.zebrabi.com/kb/power-bi/annotation-layer-power-bi-charts/#setting-up-the-filter-context and contact support if the problem persists.

Hi, real cool feature that you added guys, thank you and Bravo! this was really the most wanted missing feature! I Will promote it within my company community of users. Can't wait to see the updated version including the easy formatting and additional threads for comments features. Now, if technically possible, do you plan to allow the switch from one Zebra BI visual to another, while keeping the comments in memory? I understood comments are currently stored within the proper visual with no write back, so technically I wouldn't have high expectations on that one, but hey, in any case it my come really handy. Also, if there is no write back, is there a way for someone using the dataset where the comments are stored to actually reuse them also? I guess the answer is no. My point here is to lower as much as possible the need for double commenting in different report showing similar but not exactly the same visual. As comments are embedded, I guess that pinning these visuals on a dashboard would allow people to see the comments as well, while allowing them to edit the visual (not sure of this though), which could be the go to method for those who want to "reuse" the comments elsewhere.

For the first two points you are correct both are not possible because of the limitations with security connected to write back. Regarding the third question I would kindly ask you please contact support.
