It’s not Aubameyang’s fault that Chelsea are the way they are, but he’s an on-the-pitch representative of what their problems are. It’s a similar argument that was used for Man United with Pogba and Lingard. Characters like that aren’t needed when a club needs to be serious.
Aubamayang is a part of the problem. Old dusty player sat on daft p and can't bag..if he was on 10-15 goals so far then Chelsea's season would be different
He was a making point about why Havertz keeps playing despite his poor form and he's right whether chelsea fan like it ot not. Havertz will continue to play and stink it up since he has no competition. His backup is a mercernary who's only there to collect his paycheck and the other backup( Broja) is out injured with ACL injury.

Of the 350 odd million Chelsea spent; 250 of it was done before Potter and new recruitment team. So when judging whether Potter is yes, man or not, you have to ignore the players bought in the summer and focus on just Jan signings. In January, Chelsea signed 4 players. Of these 4 players, I think 3 of them are the players' graham potter wanted(fofana, Badiashile, and Joao felix). I think around the 36.00 minute mark grizz and toby were just wrong
Half agree, because although he hasn’t got his players he still had players of quality and is expected to get something out of them.

MAH, I agree with a lot of what you say, but Com’on, Boehly is more of a hands on owner. He tried throwing reckless money aimlessly which is currently costing the team in every aspect of their game. For the season so far, he’s at fault. A lot of the dead wood needed to go in the summer & instead he goes & brings average players at inflated prices. He needed to leave the recruitment/scouting of players to the manager/coach. As an owner the best he could have done is negotiated the price on the players wanted/identified by the coaching staff. He could then have slowly integrated thee new recruitment team. His mistake, not Tuchel, not Potter.

Way too much criticism is being placed on Boehly. From poeple closer to the club, it sounds like Egbhali and Clearlake are also heavily involved in these desicions so I'm not going to solely blame Boehly.
He took over 7-8 months ago, replaced pretty much all staff within the club, sacked the manager and had to replace numerous first team players leaving: Werner, Lukaku, Rudiger, Christensen, Alonso. This was never going to be smooth-sailing, it's a long term project and people will see a different Chelsea in a couple of years.
People saying we should of had a structure in place before signing anyone, if Chelsea had signed no one and we're 10th then the narrative would be different and people would be asking why isn't Boehly backing the manager so it's a flawed arguement.
He's set up the structure and only handed the reigns over this week so I expect our signings to be smarter moving forward. The Felix loan makes sense because he immediately looks better than any other attacker at the club, the red card was unfortunate.
It's not hard to look better than any other attacker at Chelsea right now, that's not exactly a benchmark. Chelsea need a striker, Aubameyang is a bum and Broja is out for a long time, 21 goals in 18 games is tragic for a side like Chelsea, however they are like 17th for shots taken this year meaning they don't create chances either. The overall metrics of the Felix deal are terrible, but having him at the club until the end of the season is good but if Chelsea don't get a striker to play with him it's gonna be a long season.

I love the panel but their argument on Boehly being a dictator is really dumb. I expected better critical thinking at the very least from Toby and Grizz. Let me break it down:
- Potter didn't want Felix. Where are they getting this news ? We were not interested in Felix at this price, and we went for him because our 2 main wingers are gone for 1-2 months which forced our hand
- We needed 2 CB because Rudiger & Andreas left. Koulibaly felt like a solid option but it's not working out. We went for Cucurella because he can play either LCB/LB /LWB. We overpaid 10m because we wanted to keep Colwill. We loaned Colwill but Tuchel didn't want to play him. Fofana is a injury prone player but he might come up good
- We shouldn't have renewed Azpi but Tuchel wanted him to stay. This was stupid but not dictatorial
- Zakaria is a loan and you can clearly see how weak our midfield is for past 2 years, and I'm glad that we have him on a loan because there are no other physical options
- Sterling was stupid deal but Tuchel wanted him
- We shouldn't have got Auba because they're planning to sack Tuchel
Boehly made some stupid deals and unwise decisions but there is no way you can spin this as dictatorial. His worst mistake was some stupid summer deals when they're planning to sack Tuchel so there was no reason to back him. Boehly and Ehgbadi are backing Potter through these shit times.
It's really sad that such wise people like you lot are spinning this as dictatorial rather than bad buys.
