if a woman stay live in relationship with another man then she can do that, her husband can't do anything but if a husband do the same thing then he can get 6 months jail under 498a for mental harrasment

@@amitlal8627 and this is not any single instance, there are many judgements where husbands were send to jails under 498 due to affairs, as 498 is to fight against the harrasments with only women, and according to courts, affairs or live ins are mental harrasments,
but there is no such law for man

In the same case if the husband have done so then what will be the consequences the wife will ask for the divorce and compensation bt in case of wife husband can only give divorce
Yes you are right. If husband is living in adultery, wife can ask huge compensation. But that doesn't mean you have to fulfill every demands of wife. Yes she can file 498a but AB bail is available to husband easily
But there are cases in which either wife or husband don't want to live together and they also don't want to end their marriage........In some cases wife threats to file false cases against husband
In that case people will take their marriage seriously instead of a social experiment bcz they will fear a lifetime misery..
.and this case applies to women too but bcz women have to live with other family that's why she has upper hand ..
and an abandoned woman and her family has to live with the society...just think about "padosies"..
And nobody preffers to marry in this kind of family and that is really cruel..

On a general note, for a man it is difficult to secure a stable relationship with a woman unless it's marriage.
