Those aren’t marshmallows, it’s pomegranate jello.
Aerating it with the mixer is what makes it marshmallow. Without the mixer... jello.
No that's wrong because it's whipped. Jello is firm not personally I'm going to make it using agar agar powder which is made from seaweed to make it extra SuperFood. Is the acidity in pomegranate that changes the jello from the firmness to the airy like texture that a marshmallow has.
Trust me this recipe of making marshmallows is a lot better than what we buy at the store labeled as marshmallows. Cuz that's just chemicals and a nice experiment 🧪🥼
@RiverkeeperEmberStar I agree with everything you are saying except that when you make meringue, you whip the egg whites, which incorporates air into them, causing them to fluff up. I still believe it's the same with this, and I still don't think it qualifies as pomegranate jello. The acidity may also have something to do with it as well, that I don't know. Your way sounds way healthier, and I think I'm going to try it that way instead! Thank you for the healthier suggestion 💜

We make this with all kinds of flavor … it’s just jello not marshmallow . We have milk, chocolate, green tea , coconut … pandan anything … it’s just jello whipped up.
