I now can't help but wonder how much fun a modern Rampage game would be, granted the game was built using a capable physics engine. My mind is racing 🏁 🏎
I remember gaming magazines talking to the dev team and the devs talking about how they had to learn things about structural engineering just to keep the buildings from collapsing in their engine (but thats a gaming magazine, so take it with a grain of salt)

You might take a look at rampage total destruction it has a similar but slightly more detailed design
