Iris d’Or is so nostalgic to me. I too love how this smells on my mother. This was her signature scent. To me, this is what an elegant wealthy lady would smell like. Such a beautiful scent.

I like the perfumer series because it introduces perfumers you wouldnt know have created lots of well known scents. I agree with you on girl of now shine vs forever. I blind bought forever and its not that special but I loved shine when I smelled it and I might grab it because I hear its getting discontinued.

Hi Mojann I love powdery scents as well. I think you would really enjoy Aperitivo Milanese Porta Nuova by Trussardi. I bought a bottle from jomashop for $60 . I'm really thinking about getting a back up bottle . It's powdery slightly gourmand with lovely almond note.
