@@darrenjlobb Hi. One piece of information is that ESPrtk is at version 3.9.5. You can upgrade for free with your old key if you want. Can I use your video on our tutorials page?
@@DevelopESPrtk may upgrade in the winter if I get time, although it works perfectly so not sure there is much point in risking breaking it! And yes sure no problem.

Nice video. Been looking into setting something like this up for a mate I help a day or two a week. Being an electrician who plays with arduinos and a part time arable fatmer this is right up my street.
Im debating on using RDF900 or wifi for transmitting Data from a rtk base station tor a rover / lawnmower that would go around a house and trees, not a clear line at all times, what would be better, can you use both ?
Mr. Lobb you have done superb work on this project. I am wondering if RTK base station is a must in agopengps projects. I am not sure but commercial autosteer suppliers do not seem to have RTK base stations. They mount their systems on a tractor and start using them :) or not. I would be glad if someone informs about this. All the best.
Thanks! RTK is not essential, but it gives you complete repeatability...can leave the field for 5 minutes, 5 days, or 5 months, when you return to that line, you will be in precisely the same track within 1-3cm....without RTK that will drift some meters over time.... If you arnt worried about repeatability, then no, it isnt needed.
Its all mainly Ubiquiti Airmax equipement...remote stations running solarpoint and solarpanel with battery to power, litebeams/powerbeams for P2P link and unifi AP PRO for remote AP
Nice! Would be cool to see your setup for getting wifi coverage across the farm.
No idea how I missed this video. Glad to see you posting again.
Thanks for your video, it's complete and helpful. It's even more detailed than our other tutorial. Hope it can run during a few months.
Been running many months now, not touched it. Works great.

Will you make your ESP32 code available on Github ?
I don't understand half of what you're saying but it all sounds great! Will you put up another video showing it in action in the field?

Hello, could you inform what frequency is used between base station and tractor? What is the working distance?
