    I would love the idea of the Indoraptor sparing your life if you saved it, but I doubt it would. The Indoraptor has probably had a bad experience with humans, like the Indominus Rex. She has probably been tested on and put through a lot of pain. Plus in the trailer, she is put in a cage and showed off to other humans in an auction. If she got the chance to kill a human, she would do it. If she was being protected from the other humans by a human, and she noticed that the human was risking its own life to save hers, she just might have mercy. I know this comment is taking a couple of turns on opinions, but I like to look at both sides.

    THAT specific indoraptor would probably kill you as it’s just a “prototype”. The one they were going to create was going to have traits like Blue, which included obedience, the ability to follow human commands, and like Blue with Owen and her pack, form bonds. Unfortunately they never created this one. The indoraptor that they were going to create would probably spare you because of Blue’s human-like traits in it. This one “prototype “ I have no doubt it would kill you because like Indy it was vicious and thought of itself.

    • @ricardosucre2992
      @ricardosucre2992 Рік тому

      Yea, because obedience can by added in ADN without problems
      Blue had a relation with Owen because he raised him with love, respect and inteligents
      Even if they make Indoraptors with Blue DNA, they gonna make the same errors that they make with the "prototype"
      Animal abuse, experimentacion and "training" with electric shocks
      The true cuestion is:
      If Owen raise the Indoraptor, or even the Indominus, they could be normal animals or even there they gonna ending how monsters?

    I believe the Indoraptor has some kind of bond with Lucy/Maisie. Like the way he approached the girl in bed, he reached his hands out instead of lashing at her quickly. Maybe Indoraptor thought the bed was trapping the girl and he tried to save her. I hope Bayona portrays Ripper’s emotions and his feelings, unlike Indominus Rex in JW, where she was portrayed as a monster.

    • @Onxide
      @Onxide 6 років тому +17

      Waaris Sattar well yeah but these creatures aren't like your average dog. Their brains work differently, their unpredictable. They have millions of years of primal instinct running thru their blood. They wouldn't exactly see you as a "friend". As Owen said, his relationship with the raptors was one of mutual respect. The only reason they didn't snack on him was bc they saw him as their pack leader, as that's what they were raised and conditioned to believe. These animals were designed to kill by nature, but compared to something like the Indoraptor, which was literally created to BE a monster, who knows what it's thinking... yes it's important to sympathize with the animals, but that doesn't go both ways. They aren't as emotionally complex as humans or perhaps the majority of mammals in general. Sometimes the answer lies simply on a biological level too see what it's true intentions are, and if the Indoraptor was designed to be a monster, then that's something it can't really help. It doesn't know it's doing anything wrong, same thing with the Indominus, it's just doing what it was created to do. Kill.

We're not talking about a toy poodle, we're talking about an animal that survived purely on primal instinct for millions of years. Don't put words in my mouth that I did not say lol that strawman bs doesn't work on me.

    Animals are not as dumb as people believe. All animals have a universal understanding. In fact, the Rex in the last movie didn't kill Blue. All creatures have the potential to understand. One of the greatest examples is Life of Pi. So yeah, in my opinion. If you tried to save it, even if you were being chased by it, it wouldn't kill you afterwards.

  • @DinoBot65
    @DinoBot65 6 років тому +53

    I don't believe it would because even though that it's supposedly as intelligent as the I-rex, I don't believe that it has the brainpower to spare a creatures life under any circumstance or even know what the word "sparing" is. BTW, I'm saying all of this before I watched the video. Also, what if Muldoon survived his encounter with The Big One at the end of the 1st movie?

    • @goldybays8654
      @goldybays8654 6 років тому +11

      The I rex actually had a very high intelligence, if you watch one of their other theorys they talk about why the I rex killed everything, and the theory was it did that because in the land it saw what the humans were doing to the dinosaurs, all the horrible things they did to them for tests, it saw them looking at it's sibling possibly wanting to do those things to it, so she ate her sibling so they couldn't do those horrible things. It wanted to kill all the dinosaurs because it had mercy on them, it saw they were only there to increase the humans intelligence and it saw no reason for it, I think if it did kill all the dinosaurs it would have gone into hiding and observed the humans to better put them into their place. To be honest, I really like that the I rex saw the terrible things we humans do and saw no reason for it to be there and wanted to take action. That's the thing, since humans are the only things capable of seeing these things were the only ones able to stop it. But we aren't huge creatures that are basically invincible to stop this. We all view each other as equals and nobody's really 100 percent affected by words, but the destruction of those things affects everyone greatly and might cause us to see things differently

Also if people take into account his past behavior then some how be able to rehabilitate ripper then he could start to realize that world isn't a cold, dark place as he views it

    During the first Jurassic Park series of movies, some company came out with a series of comics involving the dinosaurs and many of the main characters. They even had Robert Muldoon (the game warden) in there, despite the fact he clearly died in the movies. However, there was a storyline where Dr. Sadler (one of the paleontologists) and Ian Malcom were on a plane trying to get some juvenile raptors to go down into the ocean, because they couldn't let the raptors get out into the wild, but they all survive, and were taken to some war lord/"crime boss" in a central American country as hostages/property. One of the raptors, a female, was injuried, and kept locked up for the time being. Dr. Sadler helped heal the creature, and it was noted that the raptor was permitting the woman to help her. There was a very clear discussion between Dr. Sadler and Malcom about how if the raptor could be free from the metal collar around her neck, or if the chain holding the animal back broke, the raptor would kill her without hesitation. Afterwards, there were panels showing the situation from the raptor's perspective. Malcom and Sadler were talking in some strange scratchy font indicating unknown words/sounds. Malcom and Sadler fought for a moment or two, while the raptor would move her head around while observing them, and then Sadler fell into Malcom's arms crying over being held against their will by a war lord who was training the raptors to kill for him with shock collars. Raptors are suppose to be intelligent animals, and many intelligent animals will permit others to help them, if they are restrained and have no choice in the matter, but that doesn't mean they like the idea or that it was their idea in the first place. They'd kill you and run off to die from their injuries in many cases.

    Actually, seeing as it has been bred for military usage, it has to be designed to be compatible with humans. It has to take orders, it has to work alongside soldiers for hybrid operations, it has to recognize individuals for assassination, and many other things. There's no way they'd just use it as a killing machine because we already have killing machines. No, the Indoraptor has to be a multitool that is adaptable and versatile, and the development of such a brain using splicing will undoubtedly bring traits from those specimens into it. The Indominus, after all, tried to communicate with Rexy, and DID communicate with the raptors. We gave Indy a whole lot of individuality and potential. It's criminal to deny that same treatment to the Indoraptor. I believe that the Indoraptor would at least SPARE you if you saved it, not going into any kind of loyalty bond discussion. If it met you again, depending on the circumstances, THEN we could decide whether or not it would kill you this time. That would be interesting.

THe current one that he had in the egges had this modification made after wu found this notion in the prototype. So with that being said it will still try to kill you.

    I think if it were treated more like a person and not a savage beast and given classes to cater to its intellect, then it could possibly develop a moral compass and it’s own code of conduct. It may even develop a sense of compassion and see people as it’s equals or even comrades. And with how intelligent it’s suppose to be, maybe it could’ve adapted from making animalistic hisses, snarls and growling to semi speaking in human tongues. And it probably could’ve been adept at sign language

    This is probably one of those questions which cannot be reasonably answered until we see what Ripper is really like. For all we know, the trailer maybe creating a deliberately misleading depiction of him and he may just be a misunderstood animal trying to find his place in a world in which he shouldn't even exist. If that's the case, then maybe he is able to empathize with animals smaller and weaker than he is. This could be why Ripper didn't just attack the little girl in her bedroom. Of course, I personally believe that the trailers are telling it like it is. If that's so, I think the most you'd get from Ripper if you saved him would be a brief confounded expression, and then he'd slaughter you.

    I feel that ripper has a sadistic sense of humor and mindset as he is seen literally smiling at the man collecting teeth before killing him. But I also feel that if you were to unlock the cage and calmly turn your back and walk away he would be confused and may very well kill you with your back turned as most animals see that as an opening OR, he would try to toy with you like a cat would to a mouse. But as for a friend in ripper. I dont think that's an option unless you were seen as useful or highly dominant over ripper. These animal with the exception of blue see no companionship , they only see the necessities of their lives. Food, water, and rest. Even blue leaves owen as they aren't meant to be dogs. Ripper is intelligent enough to taunt with his tail. He is strong enough to pull himself up without breaking the glass around him with his weight. Why would he see us as useful to him is a more likable question. I am curious and hope you see this comment and appreciate my take on it. Love the videos

    I was planning to subscribe but, i refuse to sub to someone who thinks dogs are at fault for the attacks. If you are attacked by a dog there *is* a reason behind it that can be pointed back at the owner. Dogs do NOT just simply attack. Primal instincts aside, as they are related to wolves but these instincts only come out when the dog is truly pushed into a feral state, a dog is Domesticated and must be trained to show certain traits. Dogs were domesticated and were selectively bred to show off compassion + Loyalty toward humans. They were bred to be hunting dogs, working dogs, and so-on. However, some breeds (i.e, the breeds bred for Fighting, toy breeds, and most working dogs actually) require more training as they are what one could call Stubborn. They require more training and a stricter hand (not an abusive hand, mind you) to prevent them from turning aggressive. Careless pet owners *create* aggressive dogs. I know this from experience as i failed to socialize my dog when she was young. She became aggressive and territorial as a result when she was an adult. My lab, the breed is as of late not recommended for families with children due to their hunting capabilities (A lab? Attack someone? What?), has been socialized and trained and you would never guess it! But, he's FRIENDLY. It takes training and proper care of an animal otherwise, YES, they will show aggression. But that isn't just for dogs, that's for Any animal. If Indorex or even Indoraptor was shown the same treatment as Blue (who, let's face it, while Owen knew what she was capable of- he still pretty much treated her as a dog, and let's also face it- she pretty much was a prehistoric dog) they'd of likely grown up into Apex predators, yes, but they likely would of at least been willing to listen to a human and show a trace of loyalty toward said human. But, because they were treated horribly (like a monster and object in the case of Rex, and abused and treated like an object in case of raptor) they ended up becoming highly aggressive and unable to show remorse or empathy.
    If indoraptor was shown affection, or general care, yeah there's a chance he'd attack but let's face it- he likely also wouldn't know what care was so at the same time you'd likely confuse him. If you took careful measures (i.e, showing him compassion/care/kindness from a safedistance while he is enclosed (i.e, offering him fresh food) you'd gain his interest. Slow and steady wins the race and in the case of a hybrid like him, Slow and steady is also safer than trying to rush to gain his attention (i.e such as freeing him when he's trapped or something) as all that will do is possibly cause him to confuse you for another tormentor (i.e, he could confuse you for someone trapping him instead of freeing him) or possibly confuse you as potential prey.
    My point here? There is a difference between Indoraptor and Dogs- One was bred to be used for war, the other was bred for Loyalty. In addition, wolves are actually a poor comparison for Indo. Believe it or not, wolf attacks aren't very common as a singular wolf - much like a singular dog - can be dispatched easily by a human being attack by it. Hell, a simple punch to the snout can damage it's sense of smell and cause it to run away in simple confusion. Most wild-dog breeds are more inclined to run away, only standing ground if directly threatened (i.e, you tried to kick one of them, for lack of better example), or if there is a den housing pups very closely by. The only known breeds not to actually run from confrontation with humans are African wild dogs and Dingoes. I suppose you could also throw Hyenas in there but hyenas are under a different genus.
    Their frequency varies with geographical location and historical period. Gray wolf attacks are rare because wolves are often subsequently killed, or even extirpated in reaction by human beings. As a result, wolves today tend to live mostly far from people or have developed the tendency and ability to avoid them.
    Less often, people are bitten by cornered coyotes, or even more rarely, rabid coyotes. There have only been two recorded incidences in the United States and Canada of humans being killed by coyotes.
    "The motivation for lots of dog bites is fear," he says. "Others are territorial - if they're guarding something that they highly value, or defending their favourite resting place, their bed... Or if they've learned to defend, say, a dog bowl - that can result in aggression."
    So, what would make a dog turn so dramatically? Experts say that dogs can be aggressive when they feel frightened and for most bites, the motivation is fear. Dogs, by nature, are territorial and they guard something which they value highly, and they defend their favorite resting place.
    However, Fear and fright are often results of *not* training your dog (i.e, you need to train your dog to not fear things like people/other dogs- a unconfident dog is an accident waiting to happen.) or simply not exposing your dog to anything they may possibly come across. In addition, guarding is a *awful* behaviour as for many small breeds that leads to Toy-aggression (chihuahuas, for example, are very prone to toy aggression) and bigger breeds can lead to food/foodbowl aggression. All these aggressions are things you can train out early and, if you start slow, even later in life.

      Note, i speak from both Experience and Knowledge on and with dogs. While i am not a certified trainer or a vet (but honestly, listening to vets is where a lot of people tend to gain false ideas on animals) i have grown up with dogs my entire life and have been training my dogs since i was around 13. (i'm now twenty). In those seven years i have trained around 10 dogs and all were fairly friendly animals. In addition, i have done research on animals since i was thirteen as i once aspired to be a vet (but i found i would likely be unable to handle euthanization, so, i decided to lean towards writing instead). Most of what i've supplied can be found online with the right wording (i.e, Why do dogs attack owners) or even heard from Dog Trainers such as Victoria on 'It's me or the dog' which is shown here on youtube. (note, i don't recommend caeser as he is actually an advocate for dog cruelty devices - such as prong collars which are capable of collapsing a dog's trachea.)

    If it is programmed to kill, then it must kill. If it is programmed to be intelligent, then it has chosen to kill from its intelligence, then it could maybe not kill you. Especially if it knew you before the incident, and then you tried to save it. If raptors weren’t some of the most perfect killing machines ever made, and you kept their nails cut and stopped them from biting, they would be the most adorable, fun pet imaginable. Imagine a raptor like blue sitting on your lap at home while you are watching the football game.
